I have a way different engine (EB), but I have also noticed a very faint coolant smell sometimes after the car has been at operating temp for a while. Never had any issues. Just wanted to jump in and perhaps alleviate some of your concern. Never seen any real change in my coolant levels.

I am kinda bummed that all new cars will come with nite pony headlights.. makes the black cars look like they don't even have headlights.

FWIW ... I have attempted this for my 2V 4.6L directly after oil changes. But it doesn't make any difference. (just my experience - not trying to debate) Some reason my 2V takes a while to build oil pressure right after its oil change, and it makes a huge racket for a few seconds until the oil...
