I did my car yesterday with a black protection film i didn't like to have a glass hanging back there with a tape only

Added the black panel between the rear lights it is a protective film

So the idea is to tell the car i have seat but no sensor to monitor the seatbelt so the car will turn off the splash screen because it will not be able to know if the seatbelt is on or off without the sensor Is that right?

I just want to confirm if all zeros will eliminate it if it did then I can revert back and try each at zero to find which one is controlling that splash screen but if all zeros didn't eliminate the splash screen then there should be another address to do it not the same one that removes the chime

yea but if you have EU car who used the same as we did you might find the number we need to change to 0 to Eliminated

maybe there is something we need to change to 0 do you have EU as built to compare all the numbers because I saw another post where they put all zeros to eliminate everything

no only the chime is off everything else is as it used to be

I have that off but when you are in the car put your seatbelt on then off and you will get seatbelt splash screen that you can't skip or remove until you open the door or put the seatbelt on again

I don't even mind the chime because I have my seatbelt on all the time I just hate that if I'm stopped and removed my seatbelt I will get that splash screen which I can't skip or remove until I open the door or put the seatbelt on again:facepalm:

I tried this the chime is gone but the splash screen still there do you know if there something else I need to change to eliminated ?

just tried it didn't work so might be another thing I need to change or the mirror is different

cleared the error tried with the door open and closed it didn't appear went for a ride came back tried the same thing it didn't came back as well

I checked yea everything is working unfortunately I forgot my laptop at work so I couldn't try to clear the error and connect while the door is open vs closed to make sure if that Is the problem

Can't be mad at the dealer here because there is a regional office for ford here who are controlling everything and i think they are in UAE so most likely if a GCC country have a regulations for some features they will just turn it off for all gcc cars thats what i'm thinking is happening
