My window sticker has the front license bracket as a no charge option. Unlikely the engineers would not have taken that into account. I'm sure it will be fine with all sensors. If you look at the front bottom, there is a little square. That's probably for the return signal.
Pony up $1,595 for the AT or pay the $1,000 tax on the MT. Money out of your pocket either way. The EPA has more faith in the computer shifting through 10 gears than a human through 6. Welcome to the future.
I didn't write that post....chatGPT did! LOL.
I was right there with you. Tracker wouldn't load and no emails from Ford other than the 45 day "promise" email. As of 2 days ago I have a window sticker and the tracker works. I bookmarked the link to the PDF of the window sticker so I wouldn't have to jump through hoops to see it every...
Thanks for the video! My GT isn't being built until 7/13 and I feel a lot better about that knowing one alternative is having a produced vehicle just sit there. A little hesitant on buying a 1st model year, but it looks like they have plenty of practice already! Hoping for the OKTB soon after...
That's going to be a great car I hope you enjoy it!
From what I've read here, maybe not having the performance package helped? Who knows, but post some pics when you get it!
How did you build the GT? I'm curious to know what configuration got pushed through relatively quickly considering a lot of people ordered almost a month earlier. What was the dealer priority code? Maybe a low number from a high-volume dealer moved you up in line?
Congrats either way. I'm...
Stitched together from two responses on another forum:
[OKTB] is a process milestone where management agrees the vehicles are suitable to be released from the plant to the dealerships for sale. [OKTB] Means the car is sellable (has passed all tests/etc.) - thus can be shipped from factory to...
I don't think we have the OKTB (okay to buy) date yet. Nothing is going to happen without that. That's why we saw dozens (hundreds?) of cards parked outside before the video was taken down in another thread here. I'd love to go pick it up myself if that was an option! I have a 7/13 build...
I put in the same order minus Bronze on 3/27 and had a build week of 7/24. Just emailed Ford and they confirmed 7/13. Hope to be cruising Labor Day weekend!
I had a 2012 S197 convertible and I wasn't a fan of high the folded top sat in the back. From the S550s I saw in the showroom, it looks like they addressed that issue in subsequent years. Looking at photos/videos online it looks similar to the 550. This is a soft top and that's a good thing...
March 27th. The order was accepted around 4:30 EST. Still waiting to learn if X-Plan pricing applies. Told my dealer I would walk away from MSRP + ADM. I'm excited, but not THAT excited.
I've been following the posts here regularly and have a pretty good idea that it will be a long wait for a convertible. That's why I was STUNNED to see my priority #19 order for a GT convertible with PP, active exhaust, and MagneRide has a build date of July 24! I know this is an estimate, but...
I would hope Ford reaches out to you and offers you a Dark Horse similarly equipped before the March orders. If they stopped production and left you hanging that's ridiculous, all supply chain issues aside.
