I just called my local Sydney dealership, as next week I have to bring in my 2024 GT for a recall on the software. I mentioned this new water ingress recall, they said my car is on the list of affected cars but at today they don't have indications from Ford on how to fix it.

Interesting idea! Unfortunately here in Australia we have the steering wheel on the other side and the screens are in a ”mirrored” position, so I don’t think it would fit.

yes, buying these items (like the spoiler) locally is almost impossible due to cost. I'll keep an eye on the ebay vendor... and try to not look at the shipping cost 🙃 Anyway I'm still undecided if I want a black spoiler, or a matching colour race red spoiler + boot lip bolted to it.

I’m looking as well at installing a rear spoiler and I checked some shops mentioned in the forum. Basically in Australia we have super expensive options, if ordering from US shipment costs are ridiculous. Hopefully Ford AU will have some spares soon.

For classic Mustang I recommend Big Al. For a new Mustang I would try your local Ford workshop. In case you have a new/recent Mustang, it should be covered by warranty. I think services are capped for the new model.

Yes, I’m keeping the original filters as spares.

Today I came back home and filters were there waiting for me. I fitted them, no issues, enough room in the box. I turned the car on and all seems fine; I will drive it properly later on or tomorrow :like: The original filters are a little bit dirty, especially the left one (facing the engine).

A forum user is making air filters for the new Mustang. They have a decent price and comments seem positive. I’ll give it a try.
