Yea, it seems to me that that plug moved out of its place somehow and all of debris is getting in. Dont even know how to move it in its place, except taking the panel off.

That's good to know, ill see what i can do tomorrow when i go to pick up the car. Maybe ill take it to a different dealership or message ford directly. I don't think this dealership will call me back like you. I im not crazy about them but they are 20 min away, everything else is like an hour...

10000 miles. Nope they just said its not manufacturing defect, which i guess means i broke them. Funny thing is i just found separate post here, with more people with same issues. All denied warranty.

I have the same cracks, car was at dealership for 3 days, they just called me ford denied warranty. So i guess aftermarket tail lights here i come!

Apparently their mechanic cant replicate the sound... Even though they saw the video, and heard the sound in the car. But they said the grease is from steering column, so they are going to replace that piece of fabric that has grease on it, and apparently that's it. They say everything is working.

Im going to a dealership tomorrow, i will let you know!

maybe, im going to take it this week, its just those wet spots appeared the moment the steering wheel started to squeak, so maybe they are somehow connected, and also it seems it's more like some kind of oil/grease rather then water
