Here's what the manual says about "Drift brake":
Note:When the feature is on, the brake
handle applies braking to the rear wheels
only and locks up the rear wheels. When the
feature is off, the brake handle works like
the foot brake and applies braking to all four
wheels.

Yeah, no linearity to it. There's also no mention of emergency brake in the manual, just parking brake. At least dragging the rears in an emergency will help you come to a stop faster than free spinning wheels.
I had a quarter of the front clip done since it's the most likely surface to be pitted and chipped from rocks. Gives me peace of mind. I plan to keep this car a long time.
Do you ever get wheelhop when driving the rear tires hard? If not, you've either not really pushed it or you have a magical unicorn Mustang. Wheelhop is proven to have detrimental effect on the rear end components of these cars. Better to fix the problem before than to amplify the problem by...
I daily a Mach-e and find it very funny every time someone with a sporty car does this to me. It's extra comical when it's another Mustang owner judging me lol
I don't daily my Dark Horse but the factory Tremec feel was better than my 2012 GT with MT82 Barton Industries kit. The Tremec after installing the MGW kit is the best feeling manual I've ever used but I don't think it'd have any impact on ease of daily driving for me.

Wanted to follow up and thank you for posting about it earlier in the thread. I installed it on my Dark Horse and it is going to be very handy since the Steeda 4 point k member brace crosses right under and in the way of the oil drain hole.
It is an aggressive gear change but that's the point :) You use it when you're trying to extract the most out of the car. I'd find it logical that it could actually be easier on the drivetrain than manually getting back on the gas because the ECU is basing it on the clutch sensor and resuming...
It was definitely an improvement over stock but I was still occasionally getting hop on my hard 1 to 2 shifts. My goal was to eliminate the chatter completely before my Whipple arrives so I went full ham and put the rest of Steeda's kit on it. There is ZERO wheelhop now that I've got it back...

Ok, I just tested it on a quick drive. 5000RPM is the cutoff. Test it yourself by going WOT in 2nd, shift after 5k and your tach will hold while you find the next gear. From 4500RPM it'll keep rev'ing. There is a distinct exhaust popping sound when the ignition cuts for no lift shift. Very much...
Only warm as in it's comfy and I like being inside it. The car, that is :D.
For real, though. Oxford White and Ceramic tint makes for a very cool interior.
I'm sure that's why there's protections in place like the 7200 rpm soft limiter. what I meant is that one can't drive around like they're picking up groceries, leaving their foot at a 3rd throttle and expect no lift shifting to work. it's a max performance feature.
