If you haven't seen it already, the S650s have been getting some new tail light options. With the new rear design, the bumper does have to come off to remove the lights. While it may sound like a pain, it's really only a few bolts and the lower diffuser. But check out how to install these lights...

Yes, our lateral links with extended ball joints will work on the S650. The one downside to doing this is the added weight of the forged steel control arms versus aluminum.
