The 24 GT's had illuminated sill plates in some GT options. The 24 Dark Horse did not get them however.

The Dark Horse in 24 did not have them I own one and it has the serial number showing it was the 281 mustang produced that is a very early build.

I know my 24 Dark Horse premium did not have them.

The strakers help direct the airflow to the rear end cooler in your Dark Horse that's why car's without differential coolers don't have them..

If you had bought a Dark Horse the welcome kit comes with a shift knob cover I guess they knew the the blue 3D printed titanium shift knob might get hot.

I have a 24 Dark Horse and with the windows tinted I find I don't use my rear view mirror I just use my side mirrors. So thats my work around.

Sounds like you have made up your mind already. So just do it and tell us how it worked out for you. I have never used spacers I have always measured 10 times then ordered rims and tires to fit. The set up your talking about sounds like it should be okay.

The first one does what mine does. As for the second one I have not encountered that sound.

They are very nice but some of us older guy's like rowing thru the gears.
