  1. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

Like I said, freer flowing exhaust because track mode opens the mufflers straight through 100% of the time.
  2. Something rattling in the dashboard over on the passenger side . . .

Dealers have to first duplicate the problem. And IF they do, it will likely end up being a multi day if not weeks long event while they tear apart the interior and guess at what it could be. I personally would have someone else drive and do my best to isolate the area and fix myself if...
  3. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

As mentioned in the other thread, track exhaust is fully open 100% of the time, where as the other modes open and close to varying degrees based on throttle input and RPM. It stands to reason that the trottle may feel a little snappier in track exhaust because of this. I personally don't notice...
  4. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

@Starship Enterprise You should post the link to your other thread and continue that discussion. I'm too lazy to search for it. 😉

  8. Great Touring Car

I drove across town yesterday and was on the freeway quite a bit. I remember thinking, damn this drives nice! Its so comfortable while cruising. Definitely a great road car. 😎
  9. 2005 Mustang GT…Yay or Nay?

I get your point, but umm super car??? No. 🤣🤣🤣 One of the knocks on the early S197s GT back in the day was that they were underpowered. Yes, even back then. By the late 2000s everyone was making more power than the Mustang GT. The 2009 Camaro made 400hp by then. I remember EVERYONE was...
  10. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

I personally wouldn't go past 7k in my car. But many manufacturers now say 10k is fine. Not just Ford. It greatly depends on the quality of the filter and oil, and of course driving conditions. In Arizona most manufacturers recommend we follow then "harsh driving conditions" scheduled...
  11. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

He's not talking about drive modes. Hes talking about his saved profile. Once programed to your seat setting, it supped to change to your saved gauge cluster when you touch the seat button. Unfortunately, the cluster setting doesn't save for most people.
  12. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

Yes. It's a glitch in the system. I have a whole thread on this going. If you choose a custom gauge cluster it should save to your driver profile on the door. However, this does not work for many people, including me. My solution is just to toggle to the custom drive mode, where I have my...
  13. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

I put probably 7k a year in it. I also primarily drive my car in a lot of stop and go traffic in Arizona. The oil life monitor is obviously taking my driving conditions into account. When I took my Mach 1 to the track, I changed the oil a month before. After a track day the OLM was down to...
  14. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Doesn't what? I'm not sure what your arguing here.
  15. 2005 Mustang GT…Yay or Nay?

That's cool. I think we're just pointing out the 4.6 short comings since you asked for opinions.
  16. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

    See my post above.
  17. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

For the record, most people here don't take the oil life moniter as gospel. Rather, it's just a support tool. I DD my cars and change my oil every 5k miles. And guess what? The OLM alert almost always corresponds with my oil change. You dont need to trust it, but the bottom line is, the OLM is...
  18. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

I agree on the first two. But the computer won't let you go over 10k or 1 year on an oil change. Even if you don't drive it. If anything, I'd say the OLM probably prompts you too soon.
  19. 2005 Mustang GT…Yay or Nay?

Except the Mustang V6's from 2011-2014 make the same HP as the 4.6 3V. 😕
