Yeah. We had another poster report that they reached higher temps without going into limp mode. So I don't take the previous stories seriously. There are too many external factors we don't know. Plus, I have yet to read any temp difference comparisons between PP and non-PP cars doing WOT pulls...
Here we go again. People obsessing and over thinking oil temps...
It funny how this was never even a thing before we had a gauge to look at. Lol

But you are the one who seems to be implying they need to do something. Either make it nicer or cheaper as you said, in order to "add value". What exactly does that look like to you in a mid cycle S650 refresh?
Quick, name a car that's faster and cheaper than a base Mustang GT...
I don't get where this argument keeps coming from that Ford needs to add value. The premium interiors are quite nice and the base is by no means bad. If you want "nicer", then go buy a Cadillac. I'm sure they have plenty more...
This notion that the car should be nicer, but somehow cheaper is a recurring fantasy people on this forum just can't seem to come to grips with. Lol.
Modern cars are expensive. That isn't going to change. And the base GT Mustang is still cheaper relative to the other competitors in its class. A...

Yeah that was a while ago. Im sure sales and competition have impacted that plan at least a little. Lets not forget the gen 7 mustang was originally planned for 2022.
But the last Mustang went 6 years before an update. So thats the current precedent. And with low sales and lack of competition, it doesnt seem like doing a 3 years refresh is needed. We'll see.
The refresh will be either '27 or '28 depending on how long Ford commits to the S650. I'd also guess '27 is the most likely.
I seriously doubt we will see a bump in HP or anything significant performance wise though. The 4th gen coyote is pretty maxed out for a naturally aspirated V8. And...
