I think they did a nice job on the aesthetics of these cars. Much more so than Shelby or RTR.
Apparently White, Yellow, and Black label replaces the old stage 1, 2, and 3. At...
The OP is really scrutinizing every possible angle of getting this car lol. First its the battery. Then its the its the exhaust sound. Then it's the gears. Then its the oil cooler. Then its all the extra stuff on the PP that I dont want or need. Now we're supposedly considering a DH but we're...
How long was the car sitting between starts? It will automatically go into sleep mode and do this if it sits for 2 weeks without activity regardless of battery charge.
The grear selection is throttle dependant. That said mine only skip shifts in normal mode. Also the transmission does take some mileage to learn your driving habits and smooth out. Sport mode in mine was super touchy at first. Now its really nice.
You can get a tune so it will recognize the new temp with the cooler.
And for the record, ive only heard of one person on here going into limp mode due to oil temps. And he was beating the shit out of the car doing a half dozen WOT pulls in quick succession without letting it cool. Most cars...
Reports of a cooling problem on the base GT are greatly exaggerated. Unless its supercharged, or your tracking it, or REALLY beating on it, its not a problem.
As for the PP, If you dont want all that stuff just buy the auxiliary cooler separately and install it on a base GT. Its a lot cheaper.
I daily my car so I want maximum protection. I already had a spot where bird poop etched a ring in the PPF on the hood before I got the cermaic on it.
Im a big proponent of profesional cermaic (not the fake spray shit). Once you get Cermaic and understand what it is and its benefits, there's no...
Clearly you do care or you wouldn't have responded. I love it when old people get salty and argue over spelling and grammar on the a car forum. Tell me you're thin skinned with too much time on your hands without telling me. 🤣
Todays PPF is light years better than the old stuff. If you keep your car garaged and its not your daily, It should last you well past 10 years. And no, its not hard to remove. But let your installer do it they have a whole process.
