IMO DHs are sitting on lots for a few reasons -
1. Price. They're overpriced for what they are. As mentioned above, a lower trim Vette, used Porsche, or M3 isnt much farther away in that price range.
2. Demand. They are track focused, specially Mustangs that that have a very niche demographic...
You cant put the bracket under the tab. The two prongs bend downward so it prevents that. They're made to mount ontop of the screw and nut.
I may cut the tabs and try it that way over the weekend.
Here are the pictures of the Anchor room coolant tank. As you can see my bracket is too wide to fit over the nut.
The J&L one might work better since it mounts under the tab. But I still suspect the corner of the bracket may not clear the corner of the cover.
Sorry, but maybe you posted in the wrong tread? This discussion was about the Nite pony package.
That said, swapping out the stock resonator will give you more noise, not less.
You use the tape and the INCLUDED caulking adhesive. You DO NOT need to scuff the surface. Just clean it with alcohol. The only tricky thing to the install is getting the orientation of the underside of the spoiler to match the curvature of the decklid. This can be tricky when all the adhesive...
Not sure if that will work or not. The good news is the bracket secures under the nut (the Ford Performanceversion fits over that nut). But the ancor room coolant tank cover tab also secures in the same location, and I suspect the corner of the tank cover will hot that bracket. Can you rotate...
Sorry Im not going to trust anyone who spells like this.
Seriously, post a link to a real story or I call BS. The only thing I can find is a FB post thats 3 months old.
The back of the Ancor Room coolant tank only leaves about a 1/4" between the cover and the bolt. Some modification to the bracket or cover will most likely be needed.
Honestly those are all pretty close to colors Ford has already done on the Mustang. Miami Blue is a great color, but its not too far off from Grabber blue. Cyber Orange amd Eruption Green were pretty nice on the S550.
