I think this is where people set themself up for disappointment with foam cannons. If the car is mealy dusty, the foam/rinse/dry method can work, but anything more and you will be left wanting.
There are very few products on the market that can perform a truly "touchless" foam and rinse...
For ceramic coated wheels, in most cases the coating will reject brake dust and allow most of it to be removed with a pressure washer rinse. From there, all you need is soap. In my case, I use whatever soap I have mixed up for the paint and foam it onto the wheel.
If you feel the need for a...
I'm using a M18 Milwaukee at the moment. I only use this for quick clean ups to avoid dragging out my shop vac to deal. The only thing not included is a brush attachment, but those are freely available on Amazon.

Correct. Falcon was in the V8 Supercars for decades but was replaced by the Mustang a few years after the Falcon ceased production. Currently they are running S650's.
Just listen that thing scream, I think every Ford supporter had a man-crush on Scott McLaughlin, who now races Indy...
No to the first guess, no to the second but getting closer.
This is my beloved FG-X Falcon XR8. When Ford announced the closure of their Australian factories, I knew I had to have one of the last Falcon's. The car will be 10 years old this November and has only done about 7000 km (4400...
The Obsessed Garage Drying Aid is not groundbreaking, but it works very well with minimal complication. The product itself is a catalog item called 'Slipstream' and is produced by a large chemical blending company, as such it has many different variations and is sold under different brands. Of...
Bead Maker is a love or hate thing. It was certainly over hyped in the beginning, which led people to latch onto its negatives rather than enjoy it for what it is.
Detractors point to the lack of longevity, the lack or water beads (despite the name), problems with streaking, and as you have...
Optimum No Rinse, and other rinse-less wash products, are extremely versatile. Used correctly, they are safe and very effective. Even if you don't like rinse-less washing, a product like this can be used as a clay lube, window cleaner, drying aid, detail spray, interior cleaner, engine bay...
I actually have both the MTM (grey) and Mosmatic (blue) short guns in rotation. I would buy either again, no questions asked!
Ok, so there is a bit to unpack here, so I hope you are good for a read....................
I started with the MTM gun and wand, then changed to Mosmatic gun, wand...
I probably shouldn't have used that word, I was more so meaning that the chair is well suited to detailing because of the height and ease at which you can reach for tools.
I started with that stool as well. Overall, I found it just didn't go low enough for ergonomic wheel cleaning and...
And that's the "cheap" model......................................
Best Garage Chair With Wheels | Robust Steel Max – Vyper Industrial
I would have bought one, but they don't ship to Australia. And even then, I still think the universal one I have is better for detailing.
My knees are shot after twenty years as a professional gardener, I constantly kneeling up and down. Then spending my down time kneeling to clean wheels meant I had to find a way to work smarter.
As I said, I hated cleaning wheels because of having to kneel. But then I discovered seated wheel...
I nearly included that, but it's more of a luxury item.
That stool is basically the standard issue detailing creeper/stool/chair. It's sold under a number of different brands including Griots, Adam's, Maxshine. Mine was sold under the Economax brand in Australia. I once hated cleaning wheels...
Beginner’s Buying Guide
Back when I started washing cars in the very early 2000’s, there was simply no avenue for learning how to detail other than buying and trying things for yourself. No internet, no YouTube, no forums. You either taught yourself or took a job in the detailing industry...
Introduction to the Rupes HLR 15
Unveiled at SEMA late last year, Rupes finally uncovered their take on a battery powered 5 and 6-inch polisher.
New BigFoot iBrid Polishers HLR21 HLR15 - Rupes tools
While Rupes led the industry with the iBrid Nano machines, it took them a while to bring...
I hope this new cluster design makes it into Australian market cars. I have always preferred that style of dial layout; clean, clear and simple. I like this 60's design better than the Fox Body style that was already available.
For the wheels, you want a either a boars hair or synthetic brush. If the wheels have a gloss finish, I would favor the synthetic bristles as they are much softer and safer.
These are the best brushes on the market, I would have at least one of each in the long handle version regardless...
While applying the coating prior to the PPF can be done, I've seen it done, it's not really advised. So, have the paint corrected, the PPF applied and then the ceramic coating applied to the PPF.
