Thanks for your comments as always Jem, it's great to hear from you. I noticed you liked the rendering I posted. Does that mean it's relatively close to the real thing lol?
Sketch's work is pretty 50/50 half looks nice, and is often an improvement over the design he's tweaking. The other half is well... stuff like that. Looks like he was inspired by the current focus grille with that design. It's not terrible, it just doesn't look like a mustang. Oh great, I'm...
Agreed, I think getting rid of the light bar and moving the top of the grille up helps to get rid of a lot of the awkwardness of the original rendering. But I'd still like something with more aggression.
I see where you're coming from, but Jem described a blacked out contrasting design running from the headlights, and into the grille. Personally, I think it makes the car look sportier, and more agressive. It also helps to hide the contours along the grille as it gets near the top, which looks...
My photoshop skills were a little rough here, but I feel like this takes the rendering many of us liked, and makes a few changes that appear to be closer to the production car. Mostly, I added different LED elements that are closer to what Jem described, and removed the lightbar while moving the...
Couldn't agree more, it's a shame Kemal Curic went over to Lincoln, he's a truly gifted designer and I would have loved to see his take on additional ford branded designs. The s550 is easily in the top 5 best looking muscle cars of all time list. It's the most beautiful mustang design imo.
I don't know man, on one hand, there are a lot of muscle car buyers who are in the "I won't buy anything other than a v8 camp" then there are others who buy muscle cars because they want the most amount of performance for their dollar. These buyers will be easily swayed by an ev muscle car.
I guess we'll see what matters more, design or engineering updates with the next gen FCA muscle cars. That ev muscle car is either going to see in droves because it's radically different, or it's going to flop because boomers can't get behind a loud car that isn't powered by dino juice. We'll...
Gas prices in the US are skyrocketing, there are prices of up to $7.60 a gallon and climbing. Inflation and gas prices are about to get much worse for everyone, so hold on tight. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw gas climb to over $10 a gallon at this rate in some areas.
Yeah, ditch the side vent, but I really like the surfacing, especially on the quarter panels, looks really muscular. If gm made a 7th gen Camaro, I would want it to look something like that with a more agressive front end.
I'll be honest, I feel like that's the direction the 6th gen Camaro should have gone it. Still have Camaro vibes, but it looks so much cooler and more agressive than what we actually got.
Yeah, if you're going to do big screens, at least make them more horizontal, and less vertical. Horizontal screens look great, vertical screens are meh.
Regarding your comments on how evs just move the pollution around, no-one debates this. But what most people are saying is even if the power generated to recharge evs is derived from coal fired powerplants, evs are still generally more environmentally friendly that ICE vehicles. In other words...
With all due respect sir, I have a little experience with the advertising/communications field. Looking at studies and research efforts that many brands conduct, they rarely are created to support a predetermined conclusion. If a brand thinks it's brand is great, and knows other people think...
I doubt that, the light bar was pretty easy to spot on the evos/Mondeo, if it was on the s650, I feel like we would be able to see it peeking through the camo.
Well made tender, but as Twin Turbo mentioned, it's just a tweaked ford gt. Hopefully we'll get an actual mid-engine mustang to slot alongside the s650, said it before but that would be really cool imo.
