  1. If I was ever to upgrade from the Mustang...

And since we are playing dream cars here, I'll have a E46 M3 CSL too please. The BEST inline 6 ever made, even if its considered slow these days. Arguably the best induction note ever as well!
  2. If I was ever to upgrade from the Mustang...

I've had an early build Jaguar XE 2.0t in the fleet since 2016, mine seems to be the exception as apart from a few minor niggles, its been surprisingly good. Despite only having 200hp, it goes hard enough and will easily drive rings around the Mustang. Apparently JLR have an internal...
  3. If I was ever to upgrade from the Mustang...

In my dream garage.................we all have one of those right?..............................only in recent years have I grown to like Porsche's. But very specific Porsche's. First would be the Cayman GT4 RS, purely because it sounds more intense than the same engine in GT3. Those last...
  4. Repelling wheel dirt? Will this armorall product work?

No need to wipe off the product, it was designed to be carried and activated with water. So, clean the wheel, and while still wet, spray with the product and rinse immediately. You can then dry the wheel with a towel or a blower/compressed air.
  5. If I was ever to upgrade from the Mustang...

At about the halfway point during my two year wait for the S650, I started to contemplate what would sway me to cancel the order. I shortlisted the previous generation BMW M2, the current one looks awful, and the Toyota Supra, have always wanted a BMW inline 6. But realistically, there was only...
  6. This Just Got Real!

Love the colour contrast between these two.....................
  7. Oil Air Separator Install

I posted the following in my own thread, but felt it needed to be added here too.................................. Ford Performance Oil - Air Separator Kit Installation One of the things I love about Mustang ownership is the huge aftermarket support for the car, allowing customers to tailor...
  8. This Just Got Real!

Battery & CTEK Pig Tail Installation ## For anyone new to modern Mustang's, take the following post as a PSA ## I'm sure many will remember this, but late into my ownership of the S550, I had a little hiccup with the battery. The cause and result were both my own and the dealers doing. Because...
  9. This Just Got Real!

Ford Performance Oil / Air Separator Kit Installation One of the things I love about Mustang ownership is the huge aftermarket support for the car, allowing customers to tailor the car to their heart’s desire. Now, I normally don’t do aftermarket, so this is where Ford Performance comes into...
  10. Aussie S650 Paint protection and detailing thread

My comments regarding this were not in relation to time/money/effort preparing for the coating rather than applying the coating, just that paying the premium for the Xpel coating over the Gyeon was not worth it.
  11. Aussie S650 Paint protection and detailing thread

A couple of things I would note here - - Definitely have the wheels and calipers coated. - Glass coating is nice to have, just know these coatings don't always last very long, notably on the front windshield due to the abrasion from the wipers. Worth doing, just know the limitations. - Skip...
  12. S650 Delivery Road Trip Home

With my number plates, which are the black and white Ford upgrade Vic slim lines, my salesman had the plate installer in to look over the Flow brackets and stress not fitting the plinth. So, you would think after that, everyone would be on the same page. And yet, they still fitted those stupid...
  13. Oil Air Separator Install

With my install on the S550, I remember struggling with removing and installing the press-fit hardware that was used on existing holes in the rocker cover. That's why I chose to leave it in place to empty the can. So, its good to hear they new design is easily unclipped and lifted out. When I...
  14. Oil Air Separator Install

Well, I had one fitted to my S550, they work great. The following pics were after 7-months on the car. Just keep in mind I don't do a lot of km's, but when the car goes out, the engine gets a nice work out, which apparently produces more oil vapor! Also keep in mind that the new kit...
  15. This Just Got Real!

Thanks for the feedback, I won’t bother then. I have some decent metal ones fitted to the Jag, they work as expected.
  16. S650 Delivery Road Trip Home

Luckily my salesman was fully aware of how terrible those things look, so I left it in the boot after inspecting the car prior to delivery. As soon as I got home after picking the car up, I threw the thing straight into the recycling bin.
  17. S650 Delivery Road Trip Home

Did you take possession and bin the stupid number plate plinth while you were at it? Mine went in the bin as soon as I got home.
  18. What's In ALM's Garage?

What? You drove it in the rain? Kidding of course. :giggle:
  19. This Just Got Real!

Gearing Up! Previous to my S550, the only manual cars I had driven were basic work vehicles, think delivery vans and single-cab pickups trucks. In 2010, I took delivery of manual PK Ranger, which became my daily driver. That car was replaced in 2016 with a new PX MK II Ranger. In both cases...
