Ford Authority is relatively credible. They don't always get it right, but they clearly have established insider sources. So yeah, I think this is accurate. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw spy pics in a few weeks or months if they're already testing prototypes.

Even if the 6.2 was compact, and cheaper to modify, there has to be a reason that engine, while receiving some support in the aftermarket community, hasn't gained the cult following the 5.0 has.

For your use case, I would say stick with the s550 because mustangs are so expensive in your country. For places like the U.S. I say go for it.

As far as I've seen, neither model is intentionally limited production. But it's fair to assume the two door sports car will sell in lower numbers than a 4 door suv.
