You didn't reset the monitor? It just goes by driving data and time. So it doesn't know you changed the oil until you manually reset it.

12-15% on a modern RWD car, not 20%. That would be more like an AWD car or an old RWD with a TH400 and a big converter. Drivetrains are a lot more efficient these days.
