Camaro is just such a failure if you’re gonna do anything other than leave it stock, I was cross shopping ZL1s…. You have to throw the kitchen sink and your whole damn checkbook at them to be inferior to a whipple 5.0.
You actually need to use the S&P 500 to properly calculate inflation over time… that calculator just bases it off core inflation rate.
That 15k in 1985 market adjusted to 400K… just enough to put you in a GTD top of the line halo car.
I would do either headers, or the H pipe.
Both will make your car unbearably loud.
I did headers into the stock resonator/ae 1st.
Then I replaced the stock resonator with an even larger resonator making it very quiet with excellent tone and volume.. I get alot of compliments.
here is...
This reads crazy to me (base GT)
I would never even think to make back to back pulls, let alone hammering on it 10 minutes non stop. I don’t know if I’ve seen 240 after a pass, I’ll pay more attention next time.
Go electric OP… ICE doesn’t work like that.
Commentators are way outta pocket on this
1. Most aren’t driven hard, with the exception of street race cars, YouTube racers etc..
A lot of big power cars n coffee cruisers
2. No. 1 doesn’t matter anyway…. The coyote is STOUT… same for the trans…

I seriously want a 26 ZR1… I don’t even need the X… the rwd version would be fine, possibly a McLaren 720 or even a huracan.
i have to make a few moves to get there though, the 24, I need to sell my foxbody etc..
Totally fine with keeping it, that may work out also, another year or 2 and the...
I listed my whipple, 24gt for sale a few weeks ago at 55K…
so far just spammers and people trying to trade other unwanted vehicles etc…
At some point it’s “cheaper to keeper”
I was going out golfing Sunday, in my whipple GT…. Pulled in to a store grab some par/birdie shots for the round….
A Chevy Malibu with a gorgeous brand new black jet ski …. I walk in and see the guy and say… you’re about to go have an even better day than me… we laughed…
then I saw the babe...
Whipple has it tuned better than my Lund tune was or my AED tune from previous mustangs
maybe N/A they could get some gains for folks, but boosted I don’t think so
Also I’m really disappointed that those tuning companies didn’t get onboard with the 24s and innovate something
I bet YOY...
Mine is a 2024, the gains were when it was N/A.
The larger resonator was after the whipple, I had the factory 2-1/4” neck downs cut and the resonator welded to the LT connection pipes
Picked up 4 tenths in the 1/4… so average roughly 35/40 rwhp gain.
100% worth it, especially if going boosted
I ended up putting a larger resonator on so it’s actually quieter than stock now except going WOT.
