Aftermarket cats seem to clog as much if not more than OEM

The first thing I did was get them outta there, cats and boost are just a terrible idea.

This worked wonders for me, quieter than stock now. 3”’for longtubes or 2.5” for normal cars.

I had my resonator replaced with this, they have a 2.5 in size if you don’t have headers, it’s a muffled X pipe, quited the car down a ton and cleaned up tone.

It was at dreamcruise a few years ago, just a 1 off demo afaik.

ICE needs some technological advances to keep up… Mod motors are now decade(s) old tech… There just needs to be some kind of new breakthrough …. Because at this point we’re paying significantly more money for inferior performance. hopefully the ZR1 trickles down and we’re all in TT FPC’s

You’re hearing the sound of the direct injection pump…. It’s a weird shaped lobe and makes that sound a lot of people aren’t used to.

If you want a tuneable car get an old foxbody and megasquirt or Holley. this trend isn’t changing, all that being said the factory tune is pretty damn good, and whipples tune is as good or better than any aftermarket tune I’ve ever had.

I wanted a D1X originally, oh well their lost revenue.
