Ford's GTD pricing and sales registration/restriction could use some work too.

Have you considered going back to the dealer/shop that did your fuel tanks? If the side to side difference/alignment is off and they caused it during the fuel tank project the work and cost of putting it right should be on them. Good luck getting it sorted to your satisfaction!
