It's annoying, maddening even however these things DO happen when you scale things out; yours could be 1 in 10000 vehicles that just had an issue. However, how Ford steps up and deals with it is what matters. Check your state lemon laws and then notify your sales agent you will be having the car...
I truly think the Ford engineers look to guys, like you, who have assessed an objective, analyzed, adapted and overcome. Then they patent that stuff and move forward. There was a dude who was building a AWD S550. Wanna bet the next iteration of the Mustang comes out with AWD?
I digress; even I...
I've seen some straight GT with the racing stripes and I really dig it. My DH, assuming Ford doesn't force me to cancel my order by delaying it, has the vinyl kit but i"m just not convinced its "me" you know?
I'm curious to see what you came up with!?
Im willing to bet that some enterprising person will figure out Option #2 and make it plug and play. Like my Renegade Taillights on my S550. Hot swap and drive away. No complex wiring required.
One of the things I LOVE about my S550 are the racing stripes; an homage to days gone by (see below)
Has anyone taken the Dark Horse vinyl off and put something else there?
If so, how? What didyou do to remove them?
What did you put in it's place?
Not having a VIN is a bad sign. Some guys been waiting a year. Other guys ordered and their car shows up within 3 months. Having a priority code of 19 is also bad as @VTX CHF as said. Perhaps @roadpilot or one of the guys more versed in this can give you better insight.
Speaking as your Junior...
I kind of agree with this statement here.
You are going to be competing against all the guys in the world who have the money to open doors
- The Shiek of Who-Gives-a-F-A-Stan will want one in every colour
- Bill Gates will drive to the local CVS to pick up his blue pills in a blue one
- Mark...
This is a great mod @roket - many small things add up to big things and as I get older I appreciate attention to detail more and more! Can't wait to see what else you do with this ride.
I saw someone take a Typhoon intake kit and have it paint matched to their car and it just made sense. This...
This is what has me nervous to selling my done up S550 before my S650 is built. The dealership I am working with also has a Priority 1 + VIN + August 8th build date. Not sure I could be as patient as you. I mean I loooooooooooooove my Mustang however life is too short to spend it being dependent...
I've never been one to worry about cloning; as long as one does not UP BADGE and put Snakes on a GT, or a DH on an EB, that kinda thing.
My 2021 GT Premium (for sale incidently) has GT500 hood and spoiler as well as custom front car grille and brings it closer to a GT500 than a GT Premium. Of...
Thanks fellas. This one is actually a doozy. I had it back in 2022(ish) and it was basically a moderate flu. This time I have the "You Just Took A Punch in the Head from Young Mike Tyson" edition which has essentially laid me flat.
Took the train in to the office yesterday morning with a...
This is fair.
Since I have COVID and am in bed for a couple of days I've put some brain power towards idle thoughts; this being one of them. Back in the day I had a 79 Z28 and knew that when I opened up the 4 barrels, as well as the double tap accelerator opening of the intake flaps by the...
Totally fair however if you do get mods, and the company that said they know how doesn't, you post them in these forums. I have moved away from several vendors due to issues that people have had and I have shared my own experiences.
I’m getting the catted ones as I like to roll legal in my area. I would have loved to work with Lethal. Guys are great! Unfortunately getting stuff to Canada is a difficult process. Steeda Canada has that all taken care of so I’ll have to go through them.
