The last gen Camaro is still in production the same chassis/floor pan is currently being used on 2 Caddy models
If the new one is a 4 door I'll puke.
2 door or nothing
The problem GM has with the Camaro is a nicely optioned/engined car is going to be pretty damn close to the entry level and...
My car is in constant storage, it may get driven a couple of times a week to the store and back
In the summer it is parked from May to the end of September.
Since October it has had a whopping 1500 miles put on it, almost 2 years of ownership, 1000 miles in the first 6 weeks, 700 miles to get...
On some cars there is a battery reset procedure because like the oil life monitor, the car figures out age and such in the ECU ans as the battery ages it gives it more juice.
Put a new battery in and the additional charging will melt the plates, boil it, and just generally ruin it.
It would probably toss all sorts of codes.
What I do know is if for some reason the BMS acts up and does not command for power or does not see the feedback from the alternator, pulling the plug lets the alternator default to something like 75% duty cycle that means it will pump somewhere around...
Since there does not seem to be an email address on the Marti website, and I don't want to bother Kevin, I'll toss my question to the collective..... Will Kevin Marti ever get information for 2021 to current production cars?
I read somewhere Ford holds back some sales info for 3 years before...
The battery monitoring is nothing new in Fords, which is why none of the aftermarket or remanufactured alternators have worked in a ford in over 20 years.
The BMS among other things removes the parasitic draw of the alternator when there is no demand for power, if the battery is at a certain...

Ford Motor Company vehicles contain many state-of-the-art features that provide occupant safety and enhance the driving experience. Bumper fascias play an integral role in the...
read Ford's position statement on bumper repairs and repaints
Repairs are not allowed and only 1 respray allowed.
They will not guarantee the distance and other sensors will work as designed with aftermarket, repaired, or covers with more than a certain paint thickness.
Their position...
Personally?
(remember I am a licensed appraiser and former shop owner)
They want to buff the hood then blend doing a full clear.
The hood does not need any body work according to them
I would rather them try to tint the paint and spray out test panels to get the fender right especially since...
the parts were not made by Ford, they were made mostly by Whipple
Wait til he melts the cats out of it running that tune.
I'm surprised someone from Ford was there
There is a reason Ford is running in the 800HP plus or minus 10 on their Whipple kit, the engine is not reliable being thrashed to 875 HP
We see that with the Cats too, and even then there are failures where Ford deems it reliable, their tune, their hardware specs, no slicks, no long tube...
anything you do to keep oil from getting on the back of the intake valves is good
You could put a catch can on what we call the "dirty" side, which is the passenger side
It is not required on most NA cars, but on anything with forced induction you definitely want one or two
He went to an AA meeting, obviously didn't listen to the message, got effed up on booze, pot, coke.... If he didn't have enough of a rock bottom before he has one now and maybe he will join some of us in the halls again.
If the DUI wasn't enough, breaking airport security is going to get him...
PS also note the driveshaft was done at 1100 miles, it has 1300 on it now, someone got the car back and wasn't happy.
first Servicing dealer was in PA
recall done at a dealer 60 miles away from the first one....
