What are you guys putting in your Dark Horse?
I've looked at the recommended FULL SYNTHETIC from Motorcraft. 2 quarters is like $19.00 but then the shipping is like $30.00 LOL Not gonna pay more for shipping than for the product itself.
Anyone using a decent oil that is commonly availble here...
Odd! I'm also in Ontario and have spoken with my Ford guys at great length on the mods that would, and would not, void warrenty on my Dark Horse.
I had the UPR cans on my Roush S550 and they were great but the passenger side was a little hard to get to. This one I'm going to try the J&L on the...
I went no tint on the front window (not allowed in Canada)
30% tint on the side passenger and driver
15% tint on the rear sides
15% tint on the rear window
I've had these plates since like 2000 I think.
Been on every car I've owned since then LOL (except my current 2013 Mazda 6 winter beater)
1992 Honda Civic Hatch (turbocharged and built)
2000 Jeep TJ
2006 Mazda 6
2005 Mazda Tribute
2014 Jeep JK
2016 Mazda CX5 Sport
2016 Mercedes C300
2018...
"Woof, I wasn't expecting that" and "Giddy up" tell me everything I need to know.
Oh and also "It's a BMW, which is not a Ford".... Ummmmm... yeah. Same as above.
So with just your tire idea the delta in height is 0.7 inches.
That means you will close less than half an inch of wheel gap; 0.35 above the axle and 0.35 below the axle. That is not much of a difference in closure from an aesthtic standpoint.
I've got a Dark Horse with handling pack and have...
Ok, took her out for a 45 minute drive this morning.
I logged each and every shift from 2nd to 3rd and the RPM.
Over 42 shifts (from 2nd to 3rd) it did it only one time at 3200(ish) RPM.
Car was already at operating tempature (been driving for like 10 mins)
Shifts ranged from 3000 rpm to...
I’ll take it out tomorrow and see. I don’t think it was temperature specific though because I drove the car for a while and it was fully up to temperature.
Slight, intermittent, synchro grind shifting from 2nd to 3rd; at city speeds.
Anyone else have this?
It only does it sometimes and I can't really find a correlation on the cause? This is all done at city driving and not banging gears at warp speed on a race track somewhere. Sometimes it does...
Jesus H. I would be livid. I mean you could have rowed the boat across the ocean and had it faster. Or flown to the port of call, collected it and driven it home. Paid your 9.2 billion pounds in taxes and been smiles all day long!
I hear you (no pun intended). I actually spoke with my neighbor, as we share a garage wall and our kitchens are both above our garages, and said "Hey, was my old supercharged Mustang too loud for you guys at all?" (cause it slept in the garage) and he said "Nope, never bothered me any" and I...
Damn, those are pretty loud!
I've got an H PIpe going on mine in a week or so (and active exhausted) but damn, not sure adding headers to a Dark Horse is a good idea lol
I just did PPF last week and full ceramic coating Wednesday. The place that I went to had a pattern that, when they printed off the PPF film, actually cut around the factory decals.
This brought the PPF kind of even with the vinyl and then when they did full ceramic coating it covered...
Thanks for the heads up! I had these in my cart but was holding off because of the billion other things I wanted to get however priorities priorities; these things are that good!
Grabbing 2 more to add to my existing 2. That'll last me a while. They have pretty good durability.
