This is something I instructed my dealer to do as part of PDI inspection. I put a list of stuff together that I want them to do and that I will check after was done.
This is exactly what I am thinking of doing. I wanted to have a street rim/tire combo so that the stance is the same but nobody makes a 10.5 front rim that I can see. I may end up taking the Trofeo off and putting the Pilot Sport 4S on the handling pack wheels.
Oh you new guys!!! Adorable.
Wait till you have a forced induction vehicle with a tune.
Roush Phase 2 on the S550 was like a viking invasion on 1-2 and 3-4 when driving in TRACK and not driving at WOT.
Yeah I've been watching reviews on the VEVOR 1/2" drive SAE and METRIC set that I was looking at before.
VEVOR 1/2" Drive Impact Socket Set, 65 Piece Socket Set SAE 3/8" to 1-1/4" and Metric 10-24mm, 6 Point Cr-V Alloy Steel for Auto Repair, Easy-to-Read Size Markings, Rugged Construction...
I'm already shopping rims and tires to replace the Trofeo and keep them for HPDE days. Probably going Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S but need to find a good rim for the front and decide on a tire width.
I've bought stuff from them before (the catch cans on my S550). Great experience dealing with them. They are friendly, super knowledgeable, and also love Mustangs.
Yeah, it was a bit of an internal struggle. She is a beautiful machine and had gobs of power. Roush Phase 2 with upgraded Coolers etc. HOWEVER 750hp where I live is beyond overkill and I, frankly, got bored with the A10. Even in manual mode.
Not to menion the Highway Traffic Act carries very...
Absolutely!!! However, it's when I start answering myself that I need to have my head checked.
This is a nice little way to keep track of when and what things I do to the car. Pictures etc. I can keep all that info for when I'm older and more grey and want to reflect :)
August 19th - Logged in to check the portal and apparently she is now SHIPPED. We will see how long it takes to get here but it may well be ahead of the September 4th ETA my dealer gave me LOL
lol I just went through this. Here are my recommendations.
Use auto trader as your primary ad platform. Pay for the 3 month term for $80.00 or whatever it is.
get a carfax for yourself and attach it to the ad. Ignore anyone else’s request for bumper reports or whatever other scam sites are out...
Damn man, nice deal!!! Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.
You've stalled it? I thought this car was a "let off the clutch slowly and it will go itself, then add acceleration".
I haven't had a manual in about 6 years so this will be fun to get back into.
I just checked their tracker website again and I get shipping date of 10/12/24 to 10/18/24 but my Sales guy said September 4th was the date he saw "but that could change". LOL it's like playing Russian Roulette.
Agreed. Using the impact to spin off lugs is one thing but putting them back on I would prefer to avoid popping studs or worse. Spin a few threads and then tighten and torque by hand.
