Today the first mod for my Dark Horse arrived; before the car did. Added something my gf's daughter made me as well. Figured she would get a kick out of it since she used to love to ride in the supercharged S550 as I did some WOT pulls here and there.

Yeah, I hear you. I've been looking at Steeda stuff. My S550 sat perfectly (for me) with the dual rate springs. However, the "you need this and that" is starting to add up which means something else has to come off the list until next year. We will see what we see when it arrives.

Thanks for adding that in. Allows those of us who may not want to lower their DH. It's already lower than a GT when you have the HP on it :( Will have to wait till I take delivery and then get the measuring tape out lol

I watched Derek and his buddy working on his Corvette blower issues and they were trying to isolate a noise. They "fabricated" a long hollow pipe and used that to place up against various areas of the vehicle to isolate the noise. Might be worth a shot. If it works out for you let us know and...

yeah the wait can be a PITA but it is what it is. The delivery is supposed to be sept 9th so it will have sat for 3 weeks.

Mine took 8 days to move from IN PRODUCTION to BUILT. It is also sitting for 9 days awaiting shipment despite saying SHIPPED. Moral of the story is take that tracker with a grain of salt lol

Those suckers are expensive. You have to have the handling pack for one. Then I think those were like 8000 on top of that

This is a tough one Rabbit. It really depends on where you live and what you are willing to accept as part of your routine; risk vs. reward. My previous S550 was supercharged..... with far more money invested than I would care to admit, epsecially in front of the wife... and I NEVER parked it...

Strike is over unless CNCPK gets an appeal through but the one company was back on Thursday night / Friday and the other is back (tentatively) today. Let’s see if the scheduled delivery dates remain constant.

My stock HP rims with Trofeos will be the HPDE stuff. When those burn up (like like 25ish laps of my local track) then I'll keep the above in mind.

On my S550 I had 275 and 305 staggered and had no tramlining. My DH isn't here yet but I'll be going 285 and 315 for street and 305/315 for HPDE days.
