I've got a Dark Horse Premium (with AE) and don't recall ever hearing exhaust notes through speakers. I also had a resonator delete with an H piipe so there IS a resonator on a Premium Active Exhaust car.

Believe it or not it doesn't seem much smaller than my 35 sidewall on the 20s however this spec is what the DH HP comes with plus the wheel and tire kit from @Late Model Restoration comes with the 30 sidewall. Complete kit made life a lot easier.
