I don't think it is temperature related... mine came on in the summer. There is a setting within the display menu to turn them off.

I have a road nearby where they have some big speedbumps... anything under 25 (speed limit 25) and it is smooth and no bother... anything over 25 and it is a bucking bronco!

285 is usually the easy square setup... on 10" wheels (not the stock ones). Some do run wider on the stock staggered set, 295 may fit on the 9.5" rear wheel (check tire min rim size), but they will not fit the 9" fronts.
