  1. Blue Smoke on start up after the car has been sitting a couple of hours.

Gen 1 Coyotes had compaints of excessive oil consumption. If I remember Ford has always had a very loose spec on oil usage before they would do any warrany work going back years. Ford has had loose specs on things like A/C output, tie rods, brake runout and differential noise among other...
  2. FordPass: Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery

Having a 5amp Noco on proper charging connections the car will go into sleep mode after 14 days. After starting the car it will show 14v charge rate then lower to 13.5v after a short drive then 12.7v. If anyone wants to save yourself a headache use a maintainer it will be topped off even...
  3. does the mt82 suffer from "m clunk" ?

That cluck is from the two piece driveshaft when shifting at low speeds and clutch and shift timing is off. Get a one piece and 95% clunck will be gone. Shaftmasters for the win.
  4. So this just happened ☹️

@Cipis After eleven years the PPF on my 2011 was still protecting. It was a top quality product at the time (Xpel). My cars are always garaged but I did notice some slight discoloring. Newer products have been introduced that have far greater improvements and that is what I wanted. Removing...
  5. Front inner wheel well issues

There is no easy or shortcut way. Remove the side skirts. Treat surface rust with a neutralizer prime and repaint. If DIYvan doesn't ship you can replace the innerfenders with the new Ford part that doesn't have the holes.
  6. Another 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall question--anyone in NE Ohio had it done?

What is the deal? I was under the impression that Ford changed the fix to a water intrusion inpection at the BCM first. Then if the fix was needed it was done. Ford requires photos to document the fix. I wouldn't think Ford wants to pay for a fix that maynot be needed.
  7. Brake pedal

What were the peddle problems with past Mustangs? The peddles look like the ones in my 2011 and 2024 except having one missing. Not many haviing this problem or it would be an expedited issue.
  8. Key FOB battery low at 7 mnth 5,700 miles

Check fob battery voltage. Sometimes contacts can get dirty by having it in your pocket with lent and sweat.
  9. I have a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse after a wash my Vinyl stripes were hard water spotted on one side. Has anyone experienced that issue?

If you want zero water spots without drying use osmosis water that has less than TDS of 3. Filter systems are expensive and need media replaced that start to degrade after a few uses. I pay $2.50 for five gallons which takes three gallons for a final rinse.
  10. How many times can oil drain plug be reused?

Same plug is on my 2011. It has never been replaced or gasket. I doubt the dealer replaces plug or gasket when doing an oil change. I did replace the one on my24 as the threads were a very poor quality with burrs that would eventually cause issues with the pan. I used a stainless one with a...
  11. Clutch warranty

I remember back when the Coyote first came out there were a few issues with flywheel bolts coming loose. There were also some slave cylinder issues. Ford fixed those issues. If its an obvious defect Ford steps up. The dealer the OP is working with seems like one that would roll over and not...
  12. Clutch warranty

That dealer sucks. $2800 for tear down at $150 per hour equals around 18 1/2 hours. That's nuts. The people working on your car must be getting paid coffee and lunch breaks. Take that car to an honest shop. With those numbers. $8000 even with $200 per hour that's 40 hours. Thats like...
  13. My New 2025 Mustang GT Premium 60th Anniversary

I believe it is mostly an appearance package. It is a step above a basic GT. Maybe spend money on other options on a GT premium. Make sure if you get the 60th you get the red center caps as there was some kind of fiasco.
  14. Wrong VIN or Wrong Order

My dealer provided a sperate list of my options to sign with a provided copy. I did find one option that was incorrect and had the list to be redone and signed.
  15. 2025 GT engine oil temp runs hot

I wanted PP for the cooler and larger radiator for driving in AZ. Also for the Brembos when mountain driving. One can get by without but with any spirited driving one may find things not go as planned ending in not wanted results.
  16. Flat tire at under 400 miles

Had mine on the drivers rear side also seound day of ownership. Sitting in the house the Ford app notified me tire was way low. Screw in the center tread.
  17. Quality Issues?

Zero problems. Did recall inpection myself no intrusion.
  18. So this just happened ☹️

No one these days want to take responsibility for anything. I would go the same route your taking. PPF has saved me in the past. All my cars have it in the critical areas. The only draw back is removing it after ten years to get new.
