The reality is that all Ford has to do is say your mod contributed to the failure. They don't have to "prove" anything until YOU start an action in court and bring in YOUR expert to say it was Ford's fault.
It isn't anywhere near as simple as you state.
My wife has a new Cadillac CT5 and the shifter takes some getting used to. In order to go into reverse you have to push the button the side and push the shifter FORWARD to go to reverse.
To go to drive you pull it back. But if you are going from park to drive, you have to push the button. If...
I have a GT with performance package, with a steep driveway and a big curb to go over coming in. Because of that I enter at an angle with no issues of scraping.
My wife's Lincoln MKZ would scrape backing out if we went straight and had back seat passengers. Her new Cadillac CT5 so far seems to...
First, you don't want a set of drag radial on the car for a daily driver in SE Michigan. That can be a real problem on a 45 minute commute in a rain storm.
I drive my Mustang year round, always have. On my 2024 GT I have a set of winter wheels and tires and summer wheels and tires. I swap to...
Those are third party sources, not Ford though. Nothing came from Ford directly, they are all from third parties who were speculating. So Ford corporate never "advertised" the GT500 was coming.
The biggest Mustang club is MOCSEM located in SE Michigan and we have a lot of Ford employees and...
Who "advertised" the new Mustang as the Shelby GT500? It wasn't Ford - there isn't a single instance that Ford said "we are going to make a new Shelby GT500". In fact they were pretty clear that they were not going to be renewing the Shelby licensing with the S650.
Other people kept calling it...
I received and installed the Red Tiger F17 dash cam. It took a little bit of time to get it installed because it arrived when we were right in the middle of extreme cold. It was finally warm enough that I felt comfortable to be out in the garage and moving the plastic panels.
The first camera...
I've never found a need to put "ballast" in the trunk after MANY years of driving in the snow. Besides, that extra weight means 2 things -- longer stopping distance in an already compromised environment, and if you do have an accident that weight isn't static and sitting there but can come...
I haven't had any issues with my 2024 GT with them in the 2 winters so far in SE Michigan. One of my offices is a 25 mile drive one way and I've had to drive through several blizzards and ice storms. That "extra clearance" by removing them isn't likely going to be noticed in my opinion, and...
I had to get tires this summer when I picked up a nail in the sidewall on the Friday before July 4. Of course all they had in stock was all season tires and not summer tires. I ended up with the Michelin Pilot Sport all season - and DiscountTire said I had 30 days to try them out.
I hated them...
Set an appointment (dropping it off in the morning) to get the winter wheels and snow tires put on and send the summer wheels and summer tires to storage. Mornings are already in the 40's and upper 30's so time to get the summer tires off.
