Lucky a tank of fuel doesn't last long... :)

I've been using the PetrolSpy app, but I'll have to check out the RACQ one... My dealer told me that I can use any fuel 91 upwards, obviously without the same performance... but I'm not sure I fully trust that - maybe if you get caught out and can't get 98, but not for daily use...

It sorta looks like it has already had a bit of that treatment...

What would you recommend to bring the paint back up on this @DFB5.0? 🤔 :crackup:

When I ordered mine, I didn't pay enough attention to the black headlights. I decided against the black pack because, as much as I like the black badges on the back and sides, I prefer the chrome pony badge on the grille, and I am over black wheels. I figured I could replace the GT badge and...

Looking around at the various aftermarket suppliers and it still appears there are very few S650 spoilers available in Oz yet. Has anyone seen the Air Design lip spoiler yet? Any thoughts on it as an option to the RTR duckbill?

I did read somewhere that the TPS sensors on the 650 are a different frequency to the 550...

Have you dropped the spare wheel in the boot yet? Interested to see that the 20" wheel fits in there ok.

Just got mine back from Tint & Ceramic Coating... 😍 I went with the Carpro Finest Reserve, with darkest legal tint (thanks for all your tips DFB5.0 :thumbsup:) I did ask about how they calculate the total VLT of the tint, but all he said is they put a light meter on the glass and make sure...

I haven't seen the RTR duckbill in person, but the thing that puts me off is the way it finishes abruptly at the boot line on the sides. It sort of looks unfinished... 🤔 I do like the side-on profile though.

Wow that's cool having the 550 & 650 side by side - in the same colour... I much prefer the 650 front though - it's not perfection, but it is nicer than the 550. If you want perfection...

I have to admit that from all of the photos of the S650 I endlessly studied while I was waiting for mine to be built, I actually preferred the back end of the S550. The 650 just looked a bit too tapered and sharp. But now seeing it in the flesh, I've changed my mind - I do like the back view...

I'm definitely interested. Unfortunately I'm still a Mon-Fri guy, so a Saturday morning would be the preference. Fernvale sounds like a good place to start too. :like:
