Update from Advanced ICE on the camera install - it is right at the top of the grille above the pony... looks good

It is actually a gap in the mastic-type panel seal that they apply on the production line from what I can gather. Must be around the area where the firewall and the RH front guard meet in the footwell. Apparently they found it when they were doing the final water test after applying the new...

I had my recall completed back in April and, while they didn't find any evidence of the water leak causing BCM troubles, they did find a small leak in a panel seam below the BCM. The Dealer sent the photos etc to Ford, and they said they had never seen it before and didn't know what to do with...

I messaged them when they announced it and got a quote back - $1799inc installed. Looks nicely integrated with the screen and controls, just they don't show how/where the camera is mounted.

Got my letter today - dealer already has the kit "on order" - apparently it is colour specific, but not sure if that means the goop is colour-matched or not - just waiting to get it booked in.

If your arms aren't too big you can take the top cowl off and get in between the radiator and the grille - just be careful not to drop a screw...

In an auto it also depends which mode you drive in - in sports mode the gear changes are extended, so effectively you are not using all 10 gears until you get to highway cruising - much the same as using 6th gear in the manual...

I just called my local dealer to book it in for its 12month service, and asked if their system showed the recall on my car, and yes it does 🤷‍♂️ They did say they have the fix for it and will do it while it is in for the service.

Mine's the same - nothing on the Fordpass app, or the Ford website, but it is on the vehiclerecalls VIN list. Has anyone in Oz had this done yet, or talked to their dealer about getting it done?

Vapour Blue is such a hard colour to define - in the sunlight it just pops... ...and in the late afternoon sun it gets real moody...
