I have 305/35/20 rear. Speedo off 3 mph at 25-30 mph. Off 4-5 mph at 55-65. Speedo reads slower than GPS. Speedcams & “strictly observed” zones definitely an issue.

PS. My Michelin OSHA A/S 4 305/35/20 tire is 1.9” taller than stock. My speedometer runs 3 mph slower than GPS speed. The 305/30/20 is only 1/2” taller, so speedometer error would be less.

I got new lugs too with my wheels. The fronts fit perfectly but the rears stick out.

I looked at putting Michelins on my stock HP wheels (19x10.5”, 19x11”) and if I remember correctly, those tires were way outside the fenders. Check carefully.

Another consideration. You didn’t mention which tire brand you are switching to. Makes a difference. Example: Michelin Pilot Sports have a straighter side wall than the Pirelli Trofeo’s, resulting in more tread width with a “smaller” Michelin tire. If you’re not careful, you may end up with a...
