" Yes, the Dark Horse isn't as powerful as the GT500, but we can fix that with a few modifications. Want to see how the Dark Horse performs with a Ford Performance supercharger bolted to the top? Check back in the not-too-distant future. "
Correct my math, but a GT, A10, PP can be had for ~$54K + $13K for the SC = $69K.
That's an 800hp monster that should be able to move up that list rather nicely.
Those of you with a SC, how much improvement are you seeing, for far less than those other cars?
@SteedaTech I see that you are selling the Borla Switchfire for the S650, but Borla says it doesn't fit as it extends too low. Do you have any videos of it being installed on an S650 or at least any pictures of one that you have installed?
I really like that sound but don't want to mess up my...
If I've missed a discussion somewhere already, please add a link for it and I'll read it there, but I'm thinking of moving from the standard 19's to 20's and with the new tires the speedo is going to be off. Is there a fairly simply way to have the computer updated to show the correct speed...
Don't you know that 80% of all statistics are made up 65% of the time? You really can believe most people's facts when they are backed with numbers on 9 out of 10 of their doctor recommended posts.
I mean, I WAS... But I decided that living in my house with a GT was more realistic than in a car that I would be making payments on for the next 30 years.
In Texas, if you are going 80 on the Highway you had better be in the right lane! If you are in Houston and ONLY going 80 in the left lane, you might get shot.
Ok, I'm gonna ask the dumb non-mechanic question here. Is this really necessary? Did we buy a car with an engine that will destroy itself by design?
What am I missing here?
So my question is, if the Dark Horse can take this kind of power stock, what sort of upgrades to the drive train are needed for a GT to be able to handle this bad boy?
Since I'm out driving along distance for Christmas I'm moving along at "highway'isph" speeds. While doing so I noticed that at higher speeds my hours is shaking as if the air is flowing badly around it.
It's anybody else seeing this? Or is it normal and I shouldn't worry about it?
Has anybody else gotten this:
Steering system has detected an internal error. This
may result in increased steering efforts
I got this error earlier today, but it's not there now. I'm trying to decide if we just have buggy new cars, or if I need to take it in and be without a car for a few days.
