Just a guess…could be 100% wrong…..sounds like it’s activating a wet contact to lock and power the rear caliper in normal use Because it’s not a part of the main brake system and master cylinder ?
And brakes brings me to pedals. Can’t believe it’s the exact same set of pedals that my 2015 had. They are ok but disappointing considering they totally redid the interior but did hit the parts bin for some smaller things.
Do like that the glovebox auto locks as well as the centre console bin...

having the tires swapped today got to see how beefy the discs are….just wish they were a 2 piece with brake hat. But the stock wheels...

Actually, I was more curious as to what stage clutch you went to…did toy change that out? I had a stage one on mine and the bite point was hard and small…..not fun in traffic….was disappointed
The white stripes and silver rims are a killer combo with your red! What a gorgeous ride you have! Are you thinking of wrapping the body-painted spoiler? I’m going to get mine done…..need to break up the silver in the back…..either black PPF or maybe going for the ford performance gurney flap...
I will admit-at least the tail lights look nice on the Mach-E…but that’s it….Ford was choking on 24’s and letting the GT Mach E’s go for mid 60’s here in June/july to get rid of them as they were building up too much inventory of both 24’s and 25’s…so about $45k US the GT’s were going for
