LOL, it does sound much better with it on. I have to admit that. It's like sausage. You don't want to know how it's made. Just that it tastes good.... š
It's coming through your audio whether your system is on or not. Ford did a really good job of hiding it through the APIM but it's always there. I'm not saying it's not sounding great outside the vehicle and I love how mine sounds! I'm just saying, what you're hearing inside is modified...
I am a big fan of the active too. I had captain's call on a boat once and have electric cutouts on my 1970 GTO. So, getting the option was a no brainer for me. However, one thing I didn't see mentioned in this thread is that despite popular belief, the fake exhaust sound through the audio system...

Use code eaa01 to log in. It will give you Xplan pricing when you build and price which is within a couple hundred dollars of invoice.
Just picked up a PP car that was on the lot because of a canceled special order. Details are in my sig but as to pricing, I did XPlan (so invoice basically) and got a 750 Ford loyalty rebate. Plus saved about $500 on doc fees due to X. Employee pricing is done currently but did get 0% for 48.

I can't remember the HEX value I tried. I was working with my buddy who is a complete FORScan guru. Like livnitup but on steroids. He works with FORScan directly on new versions and updating plain English options etc. Anyways, he had me try the APIM location and value he had for Auto Lock in HEX...
It absolutely works on both our Lincoln and Super Duty. Turn off auto lock and it will never lock. Turn it on and it will auto lock when the vehicle is in motion. I don't want to set either way in perpetuity. I want to set it to off for me paired to my user profile and on for my wife who likes...
I donāt think you are following. With FORScan you can add the toggle to the settings menus of the car. So it can be turned on and off through the vehicle settings menu. The Mustang comes with an Auto Unlock toggle in the lock settings menu. But not auto lock. Iāve added it to both our Nautilus...
