Took my car to Titan Ford here in WA for its 3 month peace of mind service. After finding the shipping blocks in my springs, I really didnt want to take it to my local dealer where I bought it from for any servicing. If they cant even work out how to do a proper PD service, I don't want them...
I havent used something like that before. Didnt even know they exist to be honest. For my use case, the Ford App's alert that its disabling comms due to low battery is enough.
There isn't one by the fusebox, as our cars has that jump stud moved over to the passenger side. This is why I simply attached the positive of the charger lead to the positive pole of the battery as per my photos. Thats worked well for me.
Well I was going to remove and coat the wheels on my car this long weekend. I had a bottle of ADS wheel coating ready to go and everything. I then discovered, much like @DFB5.0 's wheels , the barrels of my wheels are covered with that black crap paint Ford uses under our cars.

That sucks mate. Will they let you take delivery and keep driving it until the other one arrives? I guess it depends on how badly the current one is damaged. Is it still usable?
I'm still thinking of getting the BigBoi water filtration unit at some point. I've measured my water and its pretty hard. I have around 400PPM water. Unfortunately this also means I'll go through resin quite quickly. One thing I was wondering about is if putting a whole house filter and softener...
Wow man. Good on you for trying everything in your power to protect your car. Thoughts and prayers from the opposite side of the country. Look after yourself as well. Cars can be replaced at the end of the day.
