  1. HELP!!!! Rotors that can handle the track and heat without cracking or warping?

Sorry... I must have been looking at a different thread when I mentioned those two tracks... But the advice is still the same.
  2. HELP!!!! Rotors that can handle the track and heat without cracking or warping?

Are you talking about big willow? Not much braking there except going into turn 1 and 3 ... so if you're over heating your brakes there you might want to first explore the brake ducting and control arm air diverters. Then going to the larger DH front rotors and the larger front Brembo 6...
  3. Valentine One Radar Detectors

A Valentine 1 user forever... While the gen 2 may be better... I want the simple functionality of the v1. The dual knob simple setup. I don't want to screw around with getting my phone connected bla bla bla. Can the V2 be used as simple as the V1?
  4. Saleen - Are they in business? Ordered parts... nothing - 10/28/2025 [*update - product received]

I didn't ask. I was offered a refund, but told them that if they actually have the part in stock, I'd rather have it than the refund. I got it. I was initially dealing with a guy that handles "internet sales". He probably shouldn't be in that position. I called and got a woman (Spring is...
  5. Saleen - Are they in business? Ordered parts... nothing - 10/28/2025 [*update - product received]

    * Update. Received the throttle controller "enhancer". Saleen changed the design so that there's no knob/adjustment. It simply intercepts the wiring to the throttle pedal. No other connections. I was told they got rid of the know/adjuster for several reasons and that it's "set the way...
  6. Swapped my Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS for Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires

Unfortunately... from Race slicks, to R compounds... to ultra high performance street tires.... all get hard over time, even just sitting there. At least the R's and streets can run forever at high temps and sliding... But it's still the same thing... use em or loose em....
  7. Swapped my Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS for Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires

FYI... the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS, no matter where you keep them, no matter the miles on them, will start to get hard after a year. Same for all ultra high performance street tires. After that... they take longer and longer to get enough heat in them and get the traction up to normal...
  8. Mustang Dark Horse S650 N/A made 537whp on dyno with bolt-ons & tune

Either display the TQ/HP imperial, or display both metric. But display both the same... because obviously the chart looks screwy
  9. Redtiger F17 Plus Dashcam - review from a real person

can you quickly delete footage if you are doing something stupid (like testing to verify that the factory launch control system works properly :-) ???
  10. S650 GT Grill > Restriction > Are there any before and after dyno runs with nothing more than the airbox lids removed?

I would think the GT grill is very restrictive irrespective of speed. Just look at the area that's actually open. It's trivial. A dyno ... stock-to-stock with airbox lids on and off will tell you whether or not it's restricting HP.
  11. S650 GT Grill > Restriction > Are there any before and after dyno runs with nothing more than the airbox lids removed?

Forget the pressure readings... which have nothing to do with a dyno. Let's try it this way... Has anybody done a stock GT dyno with the airbox covers on and with them off? (stock everything else).
  12. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

The more negative camber the less tramline especially with real wide tires. And 305's are real wide for a street car. But on a street DD with expensive tires, it's a trade off in terms of inside tire wear.
  13. Saleen - Are they in business? Ordered parts... nothing - 10/28/2025 [*update - product received]

I agree 100%. I come from Porsche & Ferrari... my first S650 and it got me looking at Saleen S650's. Really cool... so I was totally surprised at what's going in. Disappointed really. Let's hope I get the throttle controller and Saleen gets back on stable ground because I do like what...
  14. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

... And inspect the tires for abnormal wear.
  15. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

    Get the alignment checked.
  16. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

Is the car lowered? If not... then no. Check alignment & tires & tire pressures.
  17. Tramlining/Bump Steer Fix?

Bump steer is when the alignment of the suspension changes when the wheel moves through it's travel arc. It can cause the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves. This is normal for all suspensions. The amount of bump steer typically increases the more the wheel moves through...
