  1. S650 GT Muffler Delete Opinions

Doesn’t sound good. There’s a difference between loud and good.
  2. How about Cherry Bombs on an S650?

There are glasspack systems, they just aren't Cherry Bombs. Flowmaster Outlaw and AWE Track off the top of my head. Think Pypes has one but it's made in China. Kooks has an axleback.
  3. 2024 Mustang sales lowest in history of Mustang

I like mine. But it’s a working class car that most working class people can’t afford. I’m fortunate. I don’t have children, wife, divorce(s), child support or mortgage. Most guys struggle to support all of the above and an extra, impractical car is out of the question. Those that do, mostly...
  4. Thinking About Trying Fluid Film

Anybody tried it before? Heard good things. Thinking about buying a gallon and the spray gun. Do what I can to keep the car from rusting away. Haven't driven it since the first snowfall but these late model trucks I've been driving in the winter are miserable. I am a bit concerned that I read it...
  5. New Experiences "Unleashed Events" are Coming for 2024 Mustang Owners

Wish they'd come to the NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY.
  6. Visor label delete / removal

Funny. Was thinking about this the other day. Saw this and reminded me of my Challenger years ago I think I just pulled and scraped them off carefully. Could still see an outline, though. Think I'll have to get myself a pair of those Anchor Room covers.
  7. Oil Catch Cans

I'm wanting a dirty side PCV oil catch can. Is there any appreciable performance differences between the aftermarket billet ones? I've looked at Mishimoto, J&L and UPR. Any reason to go with one over another? Thanks.
  8. AUTO STOP/START- Does your delivered GT have it?

You might get lucky. Really not the end of the world either way.
  9. OEM Tires

    Continental Pro Contact TX
  10. AUTO STOP/START- Does your delivered GT have it?

Mine was built 3/18 and doesn't have it, thankfully. Too many years of driving old junkers to be comfortable with the engine shutting off at a light.
  11. Got My Order, Sometimes It All Works Out

Thanks everybody. Already got 101 miles on it now. After the roller coaster since I ordered the car, it makes it that much sweeter. Hoped the story might help someone keep their chin up if they hit similar bumps in the road.
  12. Got My Order, Sometimes It All Works Out

Ordered myself a Mustang GT last June after getting promoted and my Toyota getting totaled in a flood. Two weeks later, we were told we'd be getting laid off because the company we were contracted to do work for closed North American operations. Looked like I'd never be able to get the car. I...
  13. No mustang for me :(

Don't feel bad. It happens. You are better off walking in these cases even if you can swing the payments. Got told today that I'm getting laid off so I may see about cancelling my order. Worked my way up to #2 there. You won't be the only one not driving a new Mustang GT. Win some, lose some...
  14. What are you upgrading from?

BMW builds some cars in the US. As does Mercedes, Honda and Toyota. US labor isn't the problem.
  15. How many are regretting

My car was only scheduled at the end of January. I don't regret it but I have concerns/worries now with all the quality problems. All the manufacturers are like this now, though. I bought an older Corvette as a temporary car because its going to take even longer than I thought. I really like the...
  16. Blue Smoke on start up....

I had a car that would pull some oil in from the PCV and do the same.
  17. Is MotorTrend right about the new S650?

I don't put much stock in Motor Trend's opinions. All I'm concerned with is numbers like 0-60, braking distance, quarter mile et. My likes are very different than theirs. I like the S650 now but didn't when it was shown. The front end is way better than the S550 which I never liked. Don't like...
  18. What are you upgrading from?

Glasgow. Know BG well. About 45 minutes away.
  19. What are you upgrading from?

2nd to last vehicle was a 50yo Chevy pickup I had a long time and was always needing a ton of work and money. Replaced it with a Toyota Avalon last year. Was impressed by the Avalon compared to Cadillacs I've driven. Initially considered a new Crown but they're a turbo 4 now. Decided to live a...
