  1. Connected Vehicle Features šŸ¤”

There is a world of difference between being tracked against your will and simply opening the door and welcoming it in. Jt is funny how hard progressive pushes to get me to install their app and enable their always on location tracking. I would never, lol
  2. Connected Vehicle Features šŸ¤”

I turned it all off. They don’t need any of that. I disabled it on the ford site as well.

    He got it here. https://blog.bizzycar.com/automotive-recall-alert-over-7.3-million-vehicles-recalled-in-q2-2025
  4. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

In terms of power yes. But in terms of perceived loudness, every ten decibels gained is considered to sound twice as loud.
  5. Mustang sales total 3,235 in August 2025

Go do a ride along in a police explorer then test drive an explorer ST. they’re somewhat comparable, but in no way a similar place to sit. They buy ā€œthe sameā€ car for personal use because they like the cars and they’re familiar. But interceptors had so much shit in them compared to a regular...
  6. Mustang sales total 3,235 in August 2025

Thy have no choice. The price jumps $7500 at the end of the month and sales are going to fall off a cliff.
  7. Mustang sales total 3,235 in August 2025

I literally just bought my GT Convertible new this summer and I think a $60k mustang is moronic and stupid. I got mine for $53k loaded. If it had been $60k+ I’d have skipped it entirely.
  8. Spare Tire for 24’ GT with PP

The spare tire still goes there. My GT convertible came with the spare. It’s a wonderful thing to have.
  9. Mustang sales total 3,235 in August 2025

Iā€˜d love to see the crown Vic make a return. Those cars were great!
  10. Auto StartStop

True, but hybrids are running off the high voltage battery while the motor is off. So while the engine and starter will be just fine thanks to all the upgrades, you’re still putting a ton of extra cycles on the low voltage battery. While it’s a significantly better battery, it won’t last as long...
  11. Auto StartStop

The battery is beefed up to be able to handle all the ASS. It will still fail earlier from all the extra charge/discharge cycles, but it is a significantly better battery than you’d have otherwise.
  12. Auto StartStop

Yep. Now add on disabling that crap and the engine will last even longer still while benefiting from all the enhancements needed to keep it from breaking things. The only component that will absolutely fail earlier from ASS is the battery.
  13. 2025 Dark Horse, OEM B&O Sub replacement - Pioneer TS-D10D4

Good write up. I went with these to preserve the oem wiring in case I wanted to restore to stock. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089Q9K9Z6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title It was a pain free setup and I’ve been very pleased with pioneer sub.
  14. A Tale of Two GTs

My last car was a Model 3 Performance. It was faster, more efficient, handled better, and was utterly more convenient. If I’d wanted any of that I’d have kept my model 3. I bought my GT for the fun of it. I want to enjoy my drives more and take a little more time getting places. I’ve found it...
  15. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

The 10r80 is good no question, but it’s not even remotely as fast as a dual clutch transmission. Go test drive a GTI or a golf R if you want to understand how fast an ā€œinstantā€ shift can be.
  16. Next Gen Ford Infotainment Revealed: Ford Digital Experience

It seems incredibly unlikely that they would significantly upgrade the hardware in vehicles already manufactured. It would be fantastic if they did though. My center screen has to be restarted about once every 3 days as it won’t respond to touch inputs until I reboot it.
  17. Next Gen Ford Infotainment Revealed: Ford Digital Experience

This is why CarPlay is such a wonderful thing. It doesn’t matter if the head units tech is wildly out of date so long as the touch screen works. Any time you upgrade your phone, you get a better infotainment experience.
  18. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

I don’t follow. They’re overdrive gears because the ratio is less than 1:1. How does the governor play into that?
  19. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

It’s 3 overdrive gears on the 10 speed, 2 on the MT82 and 1 on the Tremec.
  20. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

it’s just easier to drive. The car is rev matching on upshits and downshifts. They’re applying throttle as well as you lift off the clutch which makes it simpler too. Perhaps more to do with computer enhancements than the actual transmission. I know it’s on the 3rd gen since my 14, but...
