Yes the Supply Chain issues are having a real impact on Production, however Jim Farley says that although he sees a continuation well into this year, they have initiated systemic improvements:
...........“I have stopped forecasting,” Jim Farley said in regards to when he believes these issues...
Over an 18 month period it would equate to 112,500 to 183,600 units between 3000 Dealers = 37.5 - 61.2 each average.
Those Sales Figures Exclude ALL Export Markets - are for the US Market only.
It will be interesting to see how the Dark Horse compares to a similarly Specked GT in Pricing, and Insurance (although the DH will maintain its Value better).
Further to the above, if you logically consider the previous Sales Volumes for the Mustang, about 75,000 p/a in 2018 before Covid19, and circa 122,000 p/a in 2015 with the release of Gen 6, that equates to around 6,250 to 10,200 per month - divided by the number of Dealers in the US.
Thanks, however I just noticed an entry by Skye on Post# 265 confirming its MONTHLY. (as below)

"Ford Dealers earn vehicle scheduling allocation each month based on reported vehicle sales, current inventory...
Logically looks that way - phasing in from early Build Pre-Configured Allocations to generate Dealer stock, so they can start building cars before the added complexity of custom ordering.
Very strange, so scheduling should have already begun, yet there can be no orders in the system, as the Order Banks have not opened as scheduled, and remain frustratingly closed.
Like these...although personally. i doubt Ford would go to the trouble and expense of making bespoke or Pre-Production Taillights for the Australian Mustang S/C if they were inconsistent with the planned Australian (Export) Market OEM Production Cars.
Regarding the exhausts, we in Aust have had the Active Exhausts as standard since the MY18, and are a massive improvement over the previous single exhaust model in every respect. However my only gripe is you cannot set the "Sport" mode to default, requiring you to reset it each time you start...
Correction to the earlier post......
NO Updated Schedule - even though the listed Order Bank Opening has obviously come and gone.....
