  1. BuckeyeBOSS' Grabber Blue Dark Horse Build

Do you actually use the back seats? I'm so long legged that there's only about 3" between the driver's seat back and the rear seat cushion!
  2. BuckeyeBOSS' Grabber Blue Dark Horse Build

You're in my color! My '25 Metallic Grabber Blue DH was in the dealer showroom. I bought it at invoice, under sticker. I immediately started studying the Coyote and being the horsepower junkie I am, I hooked up with a local performance and tuning shop. He has a chassis dyno and installed my...
  3. Oil filter for 2025 GT Mustang

I'm running a Mobil 1 filter on my Whippled 5W-50 filled DH. They have a great beta rating. I've been running them for 25 years and the oil looks almost like new at a change.
  4. Don't get hit by a turkey doing 70mph!

I was driving my old, new at the time, 5.0 Explorer to Colorado on I-70 in central Kansas at basically nightfall in about 2006. I was going along about 80-82 MPH and a Semi passed me going about 90 MPH. He was about 100 yards ahead of me and I saw a big buck deer walk out in front of the Semi...
  5. Let's see your Gauge Details, What is Normal?

I just took a rather spirited drive around the area. I made several full throttle pulls for about 8 seconds at a time with my 615 mile '25 DH Premium with a 10R80 and Stage 1 Whipple. So I took a picture of the head and oil temps to show what it's showing.
  6. Dark Horse Brake Abuse and Testing

I've used Bosch Blue on my Fusion Sport. Pretty impressive pads. Zero fade.
  7. Check Engine Light after installing Steeda air filters

Only time I've seen a Steeda filter oil up an MAF sensor is from a user over oiling it after cleaning. As insurance I've always let the filter sit on a clean cloth overnight outlet up with a paper towel over the outlet. Excess oil will run down and you can gently pat the end of the filter to get...
  8. Dark Horse Brake Abuse and Testing

Car and Driver reports that the PP DH stops quicker than not just all American cars, but every car they've ever tested!
  9. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

If you dislike them so much, why are you on here? Go find a GM site and preach to the choir. I can't help it that GM couldn't make enough money on Camaros to keep building them. Oh, and while we're at it, I was a GM power train engineer and now retiree and spent my last 4 years developing the...
  10. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

Guess again... My Whippled Dark Horse! Go buy a Slomaro... Oh yeah, they're not made anymore.
  11. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

Humm, I guess that's why GM sells so many of those every year... Oh yeah, I forgot they're discontinued.
  12. Resonated Double H Pipe - Perfect Sound w/Headers?

As soon as my Whipple power train warranty is up I'm going stage 2 and installing LTH from Stainless Works with high flow cats. The DH is a beast with the Whipple and next is getting traction!
  13. Resonated Double H Pipe - Perfect Sound w/Headers?

I just got my '25 DH back from the tuner with a double H with resonators and a Whipple install. This is the sound I was hoping for: deeper without a trace of raspyness, nice roar at mid RPM on up. Great product, I'd definitely install this again!
  14. Slower than average 0-60 times

Sorry to hear this about your 0-60 times. My '25 DH has 275 Pirelli P Zeros and it will hook hard with the 10R80 10 speed with 3.55 gears. Tires make a huge difference.
  15. Steeda H pipe vs stock ave

I have a double H pipe with high flow resonators on my '25 DH. It is a deeper rumble than stock. The S650s seem to really like the H pipes. I can't stand the raspy X pipes, but it's personal preference.
  16. Filter Wraps

My '14 John Deere 24 HP Kawasaki 2 cylinder has a sock over the factory dry paper filter. It makes the OEM filter a breeze to clean. I love it.
  17. How's your wheel hop?

    Here's what I put on:
  18. How's your wheel hop?

I just put a Steeda Stop-the-Hop kit on my '25 DH along with a Whipple. The kit will do what you're after.
  19. Jack recommendation

I have a set of these from Amazon. They work fine.
