I bought v8 GT PREMIUM convertible. I got all of the advanced creature comforts, i thought.
I am quite happy with the drive train even though it's a turd because I didn't get the 3.55 limited slip like you. It will never be as fast as you. Some of us would like to have an eight way power...
I bought my Mustang GT Premium for being a v8 convertible and the GT Premium being exactly that a GT. The v8 and convertible are great. The GT part is a long way from being a GT. GT means grand touring as such a certain level of creature comforts are expected. They have already been listed. I...
I don't want to ruffle any feathers so, before I do anything, I want to get prior approval. What is your opinions on outside mods:
Mud flaps
Fender shirts
Continental kits with spare tire
Blue dots
Curb squealers
Bug deflector with propeller
Spot lights
Traffic light for rear window
Running...
Check Autotrader Tesla Plade $66991 Miami Lake Automall. Maybe you can make a deal. Probably save bucks over the GT plus mods and still not be fast enough.
I miss these things too. I came up with a fix for mirror tilt. I use one of the seat memories and tilt both mirrors down and save. Invaluable, when backing into the garage.
Back in the day, I had a new Plymouth GTX, 440, 375hp, 3.23 limited slip and 10.1 compression ratio. No way could it run on regular gas. I raced on grudge night at National Raceway every Friday night I could. I wanted to run as well as possible. I got a timing light and went to work. I used...
That is what I bought the Mustang for. Not many v8 convertibles available. We like to pick out a small town and diner and make relaxed drive for dinner. We like to get lost and use nav to find a way back home. I'm trying to the voice commands. Some are surprisingly useful.
Gone are the days of 3000 miles, change oil and filter. Today we have better oil and filters, but best of all 10 qt. Oil capacity. 5000 to 7500 miles between changes don't sound bad. I'm thinking, keep track of the percentage of oil life and see what the mileage is like at 50 percent of life...
Regular vs premium which is better for an engine? Both use the same base with more or less octane additive. Premium gives more hp. By goosing up the hp, cylinder pressures are increased and consequently bearing, rings and every component in the drive system. You decide which is better for your...
Is it worth it? Ford says 87 octane is just fine the 5 liter. They have a safety factor calculated in. They wouldn't have a very good engineering department if they didn't. The 5 liter would probably run just fine on 85 octane. There is limit on just how low before you develop problems. It...
I'm enjoying the car. I have been driving Japanese, German and Korean since the seventies. My first new car was a 1965 Mustang. Now I'm back where I started from. I'm noticing the differences. The 2004 SC430 works great. Just punch in the destination and it takes you there. Honda works good...
When I take passengers I use the G90 Ultimate. There is lots of room back there. They can watch movies on the two screens, have separate climate controls, adjustable seats, powered window privacy screens, stereo controls and more. The G90 Ultimate is down on power compared to the Mustang. It...
It is amazing what the new technology can do. Currently in my stable are a Genesis G90 5lt, Honda Ridgeline, Lexus Sc430 and an Lexus RX330. Lots of similarities and differences. Two have acc that are very easy to change modes while driving. Mustang has voice controls the others don't. Really...
I thought I would outsmart it. I sat up a mode just like normal except with the auto irritation turned off. It didn't work. At start up the mode goes to normal. One for Ford zero for me. I will have to develop muscle memory to disable on start up.
