BTW, DTech now makes an Auto Stop Start eliminator plug in harness for the 2024 Mustang. It does involve removing your screen and a dash board panel behind the screenā¦hopefully when you put it back together you wonāt have any annoying rattles. Thanks Ford for installing this totally useless and...
I enjoy rowing the gears...however, Motortrend posted 0-60 times...for the manual: 4.1 secs, and for the automatic, 3.8 secs...that's a no brainer for me...and I ordered the automatic.
My DH has been on order since the 1st of September (through my dealership in VA Beach). But lately, I've been looking at C8's ever since I've discovered that the DH's straight line performance it not what I thought it would be...only Motortrend said that the DH (with an automatic) could do...
You would never pass the annual state inspection in Virginia with those...2/32nd tread left and they have to be replaced or you fail. These are strictly track tires...they lie when they say their made for the street as well. That's why I didn't order the handling pack...too expensive to replace...
??? Iām confusedā¦I ordered mine on 1 Sep 23 (600A) package, NO handling pack, thru dealer allocation and mine still shows āno production date scheduled as of 13 March 24. Figure that one out.
I've used the same PDR guy on all of my cars for the past 30 years...only way to go. Any half-decent one should have those done in no time...now, how much? That depends...
Here's the tinting law for Indiana:
Windshield - Non-reflective film is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Front Side Windows - Must allow 30% of light in. Back Side Windows - Must allow 30% of light in. Rear Window - Must allow 30% of light in.
Cops...
Just go with the max your state allows...I know in Virginia they are very strict about it...police carry light meters with them, and if you fail...it will cost you in a fine and then having to get them removed (to ensure they are within legal limits).
You just might be able to change it to a manual ā¦wow a month and a half after putting your order in yours is being built.. Iāve had my DH order (dealer allocation) since 1 Sep and no build date for it yetā¦
Sorry to hear thatā¦but I didnāt order the HP with mine back in early Septemberā¦still awaiting a production dateā¦none so far (6 months)ā¦but Ford is able to send DHās overseas everywhereā¦not taking care of domestic orders firstā¦I think they forget itās the American customers who helped build their...
Especially, if they are the Trofeo's that come with the handling pack...supposedly they will harden and being to crack in weather less than 40 degrees.
How coincidental, I am trading in my '01 C5 Z51 Cpe (6 spd) which I ordered from the factory. I have loved it and really enjoyed it (mileage: 31K). But it's time to let her go. I placed my order for a Dark Horse through my local dealership back in early September. Still no word on a production...
Unfortunately, this is the āpriceā for a very sticky tire that gives outstanding grip and performance numbersā¦at the same time it will cost you quite a bit of $$$ to replace them (and there may not much inventory at this time). My main reason for not ordering the HP pack for my DH. Also, I will...
I guess that's why they always say NOT to buy a first year model...lots of bugs have to be worked out. They usually get it solved pretty much by the third year.
I sat in a DH's Recaro seats and found them to be a bit uncomfortable...at 5'10'" and 215lbs, they were a bit snug...go find them and try them out first. As far as I know, the Recaro's in the Mustang are not adjustable for the boslters, etc.
Iāll be honestā¦I have been looking at the C8 (lowest trimā¦1LT) and it can had at $72K with maybe a couple of small options. Though I have had six Mustangs in the past, my current sports car is a very low mileage ā01 C5 Z51 six spd Coupe (second Vette prior to that a C4) but I must admit that I...
Tim, you definitely need to contact Ford. I will tell you that I was once told by my dealership (15-20 yrs ago) in Virginia. That if a vehicle arrives with any damage (from the carrier, etc.) and it did not exceed $3,000 to repairā¦the dealership did not have to inform any customer interested in...
