There are no pressure sensors. The actuator shafts simply move to desired positions with nothing connected to them. Changing modes has no effect.

Very true and not arguing with that. For me, I only like loud so that is not a worry.

Wonder if you could install a non active 18-23 on a 24 with the active and simply leave the actuators plugged in but tied up out of the way?
