Remember when the Indy 500 had a notable pace car every year, with the OEMs selling special edition replicas to commemorate? 😎
Now THIS graphic would still look good today on our Mustangs!
It's funny -- people always want whatever they don't already have. If Ford had made these front ends all-body-color, everybody would be having their coves painted black because "Ford shoulda done it that way" 🤪
Those of us with a Shadow Black car, we can already have it both ways. My coves...
Kudos, and an enthusiastic THANK YOU, to fellow member @Yamazuki , for a great meetup and an expert import of this modification. Mr. TH was a great guy to meet, get acquainted with, and shoot the bull with -- regarding Mustangs, motorcycles, North Dakota heritage, and a nice variety of other...
OP here. No need to worry, guys . . . I'm havin' lots of fun with this Ponycar. The tall, skinny, pedal on the right gets plenty of workout.
The mpg cited above was just one tankful, where I had a mostly freeway run up to & back from our lake cabin. My overall average is about 21...
I appreciate the advice, sincerely, but I wouldn't plan to purchase a dedicated PC just for this one-time purpose. I'd instead rather pay the dealer service dept, assuming they're willing. Or, find a friendly local enthusiast who's steeped in Forscan. Thanks again, and keep it coming!
My understanding is that Forscan requires a Windows PC. Which I do not have. Does it work on a Mac?
Any Forscan users in Minnesota willing to help a buddy out? I'll bring beer and pizza 🍺🍕. Maybe some F-150 guys?
Thanks for all the comments -- keep 'em coming!
Hello guys, I'm really enjoying my new 2026 GT w/ the A10 automatic trans.
I'd like to always see the current gear I'm in while in "Drive" (not manual mode) displayed within the tachometer readout. It doesnt seem to be a selectable setting I can find. Which is odd -- my wife's Jeep Wrangler...
Here's the one I got, and it was perfect. There is plenty of space within the housing to push in and tuck away any extra length you don't need -- result is "no slack" and a tidy look.

Your hint to leave out the extra bracket link was especially appreciated -- it saved me time, and trial & error, to get the perfect fit the first time. Thanks again. 😎🍺
@Interstellar -- thank you for a great write-up. I followed this thread and found it very helpful. And thank you to the others who also commented. Everyone's hints and tips were great. I ordered and installed both the BlendMount bracket referenced, as well as the RadarTap power lead from...
Thank you guys! Appreciate the input, and keep it coming!
In the meantime, I did order that Etsy pull-strap referenced above. Good suggestion!
Thanks again and cheers 🍻
I've had my brand new GT Premium for almost a whole week now. Love the car!
One thing I find missing (which other cars seem to always have these days) is a handle or hand grip inside the trunk, so you can close it without touching & smudging the exterior paint. I end up reaching up and...
Picked up a new pony over the weekend. GT Premium, in Shadow Black and the Bronze Appearance Package. What an amazing car . . . . a work of art to look at, and a magic carpet to drive. Brings me full circle all the way back to 1989, when my very first new car was a black 5.0 LX 😎
