  1. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Uh, I want a stick shift in my EV too. Forgot about me. RUDE. Why would an automaker not cater to one specific customer? Ridiculous.
  2. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

That's a good point and I'm right there with you. Aside from watching car reviews and some comedians etc., my main videos on YT are instructionals etc. Of course YT makes it harder and harder to enjoy because of ads, etc., and the content creators need to get paid. Sure the model as is now isn't...
  3. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

I think I'd be ALL OVER THAT. Honestly, I'm mental when it comes to manuals. I hate automatics. I get the benefits etc., but I can't stand them. If we're going to lose ICEs eventually, getting some sort of manual in an EV to me sounds awesome.
  4. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Right, understand and agree. I will GLADLY pay $100 instead of $50 monthly, if I go from 18Mbps down/1Mbps up to 200/20-30. That's for sure worth it, even with the expensive equipment fees etc. I guess it's a bit of a catch-22. To me, the proof of concept or better service is not YET there. But...
  5. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Oh, I've done that fairly long time ago, sometime last year when the major tests were announced I signed up for information email. Currently, it looks like this for me (see attachment) - to pay $100 now, then $100 a month and $500 for hardware for something I'm not guaranteed to have working or...
  6. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Yeah, I can't imagine. Granted, I can still work from home, Zoom runs fine, even via VPN to connect to our work servers works fine. We can stream okay. But that's just the wife and I. Even with multiple devices, truly only 2-6 are used at once (laptop and phone each, thermostat, some smart...
  7. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

I live in "rural" OH and my access to internet is still pretty bad. When I lived just south of Dayton, I had 100Mbps and could've gone to I think 400 or a gig. Now that I live just outside of town (wife wanted more land), about 10min from the closest bigger town, I am on DSL and getting barely...
  8. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

That's what I was mentioning at about page 10 (we are on page 31 now)... No matter whether we like it or not, EVs are PROBABLY going to happen as a mass vehicle. Before that, they need to get more enviro friendly in manufacturing/disposal, they need to be made affordable for the masses. Charging...
  9. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Lot of people aren't in the business of checking facts and doing some research. Regurgitated news will do. :(
  10. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

In the US, in smaller towns and areas outside of the major cities such as NYC or LA, I think that is the case. I've lived in Europe majority of my life, public system is wonderful. But now living in OH, I virtually don't have a way to get to work without using a car...
  11. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

I do live in the States now too. Yeah, that's pretty sad. But until reliable and affordable options are presented to the masses, we won't have a choice... But, Jalopnik is riddled with commentary, at least from my experience, it's lately been a bitch-forum for the editors to complain about...
  12. S650 mule spotted..........with all wheel drive?

Yeah I remember that vaguely. I mean I would be game too for sure. Even if it is just a "fake" shifting thing, obviously there's not much gearing to change with EVs, but either way. Or maybe there'll be one reduction gear for economic driving and a couple manual-like ones for spirited...
  13. S650 mule spotted..........with all wheel drive?

Good catch! Had to go back to the article to have a laugh. :D Yeah, hopefully the time for manuals to die is not yet near. When it is, I hope to be retired and done with driving, but being 28yo I doubt that timeline. "...to boot." Yup, it's very light around the trunk. Sorry I'll see myself...
  14. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Oh yeah, for sure. I'm from Europe originally, so I can see very much different things here. Also, when gas is 2-3x the price it's in the US (at times, depending on country etc), you sure start to learn how to like the small efficient vehicles...
  15. Report: Next gen S650 Mustang will have full 8 year life cycle

I'm right there with you. Manual transmission to me is a must, until I'm literally not given a choice. I've gone out of my way to always buy stick, never owned auto. I know that eventually I probably won't have a choice, but I'll always try. Yea, I've mentioned this in other sections/forums...
  16. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Yeah, that makes sense. If they put all the new tech, engines, all your options into just the mass-selling SUVs, if a consumer wants the newest and/or best tech, safety features, etc., lot of times you don't have a choice but to get an SUV. No more sedans by a US automaker? No small hatches or...
  17. “Next Gen” Mustang Will be Electric (EV) Only Claims Autoline

Yeah, I understand that what enthusiasts want doesn't sell nearly as much as what the majority of consumers want. And yea, I get how some people perceive SUVs as practical, but you can't beat a sports coupe or sedan with good amount of power by slapping an "ST" badge on your mommy mobile. :(...
