I don't remember at the moment, but if there was a setting, it was surely set to the lowest. I tried everything after had to give up and accept the fact that every time I drive, shutting the system OFF is part of my "starting procedures", at least it's less annoying that having to turn off the...
It worked quite fine on my S550, and I loved it especially on the highways, it's very useful, and I'm not sure I could be considered one of those who doesn't know how to drive. :D
But on the S650 it's bugged, and on mine (lane assist and lane centering) you cannot disable it permanently: if I...
That is the reason i had to disable it: going on the highway it was coming up every minute or so, despite my hands firmly on the wheel and actually driving the car (if the road is perfectly straight and the car is going straight i won't rotate the wheel), forcing me to do small movements within...
Apart being in the EU, I'm also talking about the "lane centering assist" (that is different than the "simple" driving assist), I also have those "connected" system, when I activate them they "force" certain systems to remain active, I don't know if it makes any difference. However I cannot...
As you may know the EU versions (I do own a DH) and eventually the UK versions doesn't come with a remote start keyfob (there's no remote start nor the panic buttons), but they can be started using the Ford Pass app (very annoying as it often lag and not very reliable).
I've read about other...
Maybe it's a EU thing, despite a disable it in the menu, or using the button on the steering wheel, it turns back on at the next restart. Even in the menu it's specified it will stay on only for the current drive.
No way as of now. I've to turn off the lane keeping every time I turn on the car, and get rid of a very useful feature (that I liked in the S550) to shutup the thing, because the system is bugged.
I dunno, I went for the H-pipe because the general opinion is that it doesn't change the sound pitch (I love the V8 american sound), so was the best option for me.
No, as I mentioned in the other post, i gone to the shop and first think I wanted to do: i will make a before/after video (coz you can't find one with the EU version).. and.. I didn't!
If you scroll above, you'll find the video from the Swiss guy, that's pretty like how it sounds...
It's a matter of time, if they aimed already at your car, they will come prepared with the right tool. If it's just a bunch of desperados looking around they will come with a universal wrench, if there's a minimal grip outside it'll be a joke, but if they are inner treaded like the other ones...
Naa.. i dunno about the GT, but stock VS stock my Bullitt was a way louder (on start and overall) than my stock DH (both EU). Now the DH with h-pipe is a way louder than the stock Bullitt.
For the GT it may have been different (I know that the Bullitt has a very different sound than the GT...
Yes but those are a joke to unscrew (as said.. nor that a thief wouldn't find a way...), so at that point I wouldn't have used an anti-theft lug at all.
I don't know why they changed em (or why there's different versions around), the previous ones were perfect (see the picture). Maybe they found em not that secure (the treads were external, not with the inner part like this), however if someone want to steal your wheels, it's not a lug that will...
With the valves you'll be fine, coz you can really decide how it should sound. Without active exhaust it could became an issue, in those moments when you say, i'm too loud.. and you can't do nothing about it. I wouldn't have done it without the "switch".
