For anyone else reading this, I find this link (make sure to select the Mustang if the link doesn’t carry this over) to be very cool. It shows various wheels and tire options...
Got it. There is an unwritten rule about number of threads to open, even if the question is in fact a new one.
And no, I take everyone’s input seriously and respectfully. Sometimes reading the variety of opinions helps me clear my mind and make a firm decision. Does that mean someone like you...
Hey guys, thanks to TheACN I found a 3d printer relatively local. If anyone likes, I can order additional copies at cost. Only thing it would cost you is shipping. Let me know before the end of the week if you want to be included. My way of saying thank you to all the forum members here who...
Although i requested to not comment on the choice of tires or wheels, I guess that fell onto deaf ears. We already had this conversation, including if the PP makes sense for me.
I'm just enthusiastic and would like some input before making decisions. In my mind that's called 'getting a variety...
My basic question is fitting 275 vs 265 on square 20x9 wheels.
I understand the performance part, but at this point I need to keep things simple. I might hold on to the PP wheels in case something changes in the future, but that’s long-term. I won’t be racing this car anytime soon.
the width will actually be the same (275) in the rear with my 20”. The front will be larger though. However, the DH comes with option 305 fronts so I am not sure how “bad” 275 is.
Maybe I am missing something.
I just ordered the Pioneer subwoofer. If anyone knows someone to who can 3D print these, I'm more than happy to add my name to the list if we want to get a group order. I have no idea where to start finding a 3D printer company (Google results are so confusing).
EDIT: I am getting 20x10s.
Thought about posting in the 'other' thread about tire sizes but figured to start my own. First of all, I'm replacing my stock PP wheels/tires (19" X 9" (F) 19" X 9.5" (R), 255/40R19 (F) 275/40R19 (R)) with new 20x9 square wheels and Continental DWS 06 Plus...
I was one of the members who questioned the need for a PP and was looking at a 2025 model. Do yourself a favor, make a 2026 build and ask Granger to give you a quote. To me a new model build exactly as I wanted isn’t that much more than a 2025.
I ordered a 2026 GT with the PP and the first thing I am doing is replacing the rims with 20” and putting continental all seasons tires on them. Square setup so I can rotate tires.
I don’t plan to drive in the snow but it gets cold in NY and I don’t want to not use the car for half the year or...
In case someone is wondering, these wheels are STANCE SF14 20X9 5X114.3 CB70.5 HYPER BLACK. The Tires I'm going to mount will be Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS Tires (265/35R20) - All Seasons.
Ok, I settled on my new 20" rims with 265/35R20 tires, purchased from one of our forum sponsors. They're half price compared to the Vossen rims, will be ceramic coated for free, tpm installed/programmed and factory matched to fit my Mustang perfectly. I should be coming out really good...
