I will probably end up doing the same. Just to confirm we are 100% sure this rider for the lights would cover this particular issues with the blinker situation? I would assume so but you never know what the small print says....
Might come in handy after all as my wife has a '23 Escape Hybrid speaking of which she gets at least double if not triple the gas mileage my GT gets so far, lol.
Just seeing this thread so I guess I need to check my tire pressure as well. I see a few in here say the recommended PSI is 32 cold. Does anyone know if the recommended PSI depends on what size tire you have? I just have a base GT with the 18" wheels. I'll have to see what the sticker on the...
Curious at what mileage you did your second oil change? Also as I'm having the quick lane at the dealership change my oil I'll have to see if they would collect a sample of the oil for me to send away for analysis.
Curious when you plan on doing your second oil change? I have around 1150 miles currently on my GT and am ticking of changing the oil 2x between now and 5K miles and then I plan on going around 5K miles in between changes from then on. I'm leaning towards going full synthetic but I wonder if...
So your saying that blend gets thick in cold temps so that is a benefit? Just trying to understand how the blend getting thick which synthetic not getting thick in cold weather is a benefit?
I too may venture out in my Mustang in the winter here in SE MI if it's not too bad out. Luckily I work at home so that's a plus. Best of luck with the new Stang:)
Also any idea which winter tires you'll be going with?
I am starting to think about my first oil change on my new GT which I will be having done at the Ford dealerships Quick Lane oil change place where I have went for many years with my other cars. I would do it myself but unfortunately I don't have the setup to change oil here at the house. Anyway...
Beautiful looking car from a fellow Michigander (or is it Michiganian - I've heard it both ways, lol). I noticed your comment about the Nissan Z you test drove would get you in trouble in Winter here in the great state of MI. Does that mean your going to be driving your Mustang in Winter here...
Curious what mileage you had on the car for the first oil change? Also which brand of oil did you go with? I'll have to have the dealer change my oil as I don't have the setup to do it myself unfortunately.
Just wanted to check in with those that have installed the DIY-van liner fix. How is it holding up? Does it seem like it will last many years even when driving in rain and possibly even snow (gasp). I just have tape on the openings for now which does a decent job but I haven't really driven in...
Any reason you opted to use a 5-30 blend in both of your Mustang's versus full synthetic? I know the blend is cheaper but it seems like most here recommend full synthetic at least in the GT's.
So the cover that needs to be dropped for an oil change collects rocks too? I get my oil change at the dealership so hopefully they will remove any rocks my cover may have collected, lol.
Are you running full synthetic now? I'm almost at 1100 miles but I'm still debating when I want to have my...
That's impressive mileage for a GT. I have an Atlas Blue w/301A, AE but with 3.55 gears so my rpm's are a little higher than the stock 3.15's. I have't done a lot of highway but I did see 24 on a tank of mostly highway which is right what the sticker says. Maybe I can squeeze out a few more...
