Speaking of all that fuzzy carpet material underneath I wonder how well that will hold up over time? Does anyone know how long Ford has been doing that?
Wow that Rapid Red looks excellent contrasted against the black wheels. I had an Ecoboost on order and thought about changing it to the Ecoboost Premium but say to heck with it and went for the GT. I did go with the 301A pkg which adds heated seats (still cloth), dual zone climate and a better...
Not sure on the break issue but I'm curious what color base GT you have? Any pics? What do you think of the base cloth interior. Does it seem pretty durable like something that will hold up well over the years?
Cheers and welcome to the forum:)
Oh wow so you'll be coming up on a year here. That's pretty crazy and reminds of the issue with trying to get a Ford Maverick scheduled last year. I just recently ordered so I guess I'll see how long my wait is.
Yeah that does sound correct from what I've read after looking into it further. I know I saw mention of them wanting to schedule 2900 Mustangs for March for maybe only 700 or so retail (1500 to 800) and the rest being dealer stock? Who knows at this point I guess. I do see that it says the 18"...
So I wonder if most Mustang's got scheduled for March with last weeks scheduling as this says just clean up scheduling? Seems like not a lot of Mustang scheduling going on right now? I think the update that week said there were about 800ish Mustangs left in the retail order book down from...
Well any Mustang built 12/4 or after is supposed to be Job 2 so that's pretty nice if you didn't get charged the mini spare. I'm not sure how to tell from the window sticker if it has stop start or not. If I come across an answer I'll let you know.
Well that's good news for you. Your car should be a Job 2 car correct? Just wonder why no charge for the spare tire then? Does it have auto stop start?
I'm trying to decide if I want to step up to the EB Premium which comes with ActiveX seating. I'm curious how current owner's of Mustangs with ActiveX are liking or disliking about the ActiveX material. Ford says that ActiveX is more durable than leather and will hold up well over time. Do you...
I'm not too worried about the sun fading the vinyl over time but I'm more worried about the paint underneath not matching the rest of the car after the vinyl's been on awhile. I think I'll steer clear of the vinyl for now.
I'm trying to decide if the EB Premium with no other pkg's on it is worth it over a base EB with the 101A pkg. So the 101A pkg on a base EB adds heated front seats (still cloth but the side bolsters are vinyl), (6) way power drive seat, dual zone climate control, (9) speaker stereo system w/XM...
Appreciate the reply and the info. I was actually debating on getting them from the factory on an EB so I assume coming from the factory the application would be nice but then again you never know, lol. I do live in Michigan were we get our fair share of everything weather wise so that does give...
Looks really nice. I'm curious if you or anyone else knows how vinyl stripes hold up over time when exposed to the elements and father time, etc. I wonder if some years down the road they might start to peel? And if they do peel what happens to the paint underneath the stripes?
Can you take...
So your only seeing 20 mpg highway? Shouldn't you be seeing way higher on the highway rating? Here in the US the highway rating is 33 mpg and I've seen people say they see 36-37 in certain conditions. Your city of 25.6 is really good IMHO.
Thanks so much for the reply. You make some very good points and honestly those points are what keep bringing me back to the EB. Did you get a base EB or does it have one of the packages on it? What kind of driving do you do (city, highway, mixed) and what kind of mpg's are you seeing? Are you...
When you say the Mustang refresh scheduled for 2025 (according to rumors) your referring to a refresh of of the infotainment system correct and not a vehicle refresh. I mean the Mustang was just refreshed for the 24MY. Just making sure:)
So is 823 unscheduled orders considered low by historical standards for the Mustang? It seems pretty low to me but maybe it's because it's winter perhaps?
